Overall Satisfaction with Workplace by Facebook

I have used Facebook's workplace, but not in my Organization. I have used it in the non-profit organization that I volunteer for. It's a very good tool, and is actually free or costs very little. It's made it easy to share files and do a group chat. It's convenient, easy to use, and available for free.

  • Newsfeed -- this is kind of unique for a connectivity tool like this.
  • Video calls through phone make it very convenient.
  • It is not very popular.
  • The pricing is very reasonable, but not many are aware of it.
  • It is free for non-profits, but it is not as popular as Google Docs.
  • It provides one place to save all relevant information from all users.
It is free for non-profits, and easy to use. However, it is not very popular. Once the user gets to know this software, it is easy to use. It's also a good connectivity tool -- instant messaging, group chat, files sharing, etc., can be easily done, and can be referred to at a later point of time by any user.
I haven't really used the support feature, since it is pretty straightforward to use the tool. All features are in one place -- instant messaging, file sharing, group chat, video calls, newsfeed, live video from a mobile phone -- all these make it very convenient to stay in touch with your colleagues.

Google Hangouts, Google Forms, Google Drive, Google Pay (formerly Google Wallet), Blogger
It is well suited for a non-profit or any social groups where the budget is low but communication plays a key role. It helps in sharing files, media, photos/videos, etc. Many big Organizations may not choose Facebook's workplace, as it may seem like a social media tool because of its association with Facebook.
