Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use Wrike primarily to track the implementation of Cydar Maps at our customers. We have secondary use cases for smaller internal improvement projects that are being conducted internally. Wrike is very helpful for the implementation projects as it allows for the incremental activities and their predecessors and successors to be listed.
Pros
- Tracking of predecessors
- Customisation with the automations feature
- Note taking of the incremental activities that are created
Cons
- Onboarding
- Collation of notes for the entire project
- Make the completed date customisable (i.e. if was completed over the weekend but i was late to updating, i cannot accurately reflect the completion date)
- Positive: Allowed for much simpler project management
- Potential Positive: If i was able to engage more users from my company, i think it would have a big impact on how we track internal projects
- Significant increase in visibility of the ongoing projects
Yes, the Automation features were great as it allowed for further customisation in how the tool works. I.e. i much prefer to have my tasks emailed to me, so i was able to set up an automation to email me at a cadence that i chose, allowing me to keep on top of things.
Wrike is better than both as it allows for greater visibility and is more similar to an excel based system, which i think has a much better initial understanding of all users.
