Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent
We use Incent to process all sales commissions company-wide. Using Incent has reduced our turnaround time by three weeks and has significnatly reduced errors caused by manual maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
Pros
- Flexibility in plan designs
- Tracking of detailed information linked to statements
- Ability to upload large quantities of set-up data
- Interfacing with SalesForce
Cons
- Employee job role or termination changes seems a bit manual
- Hierarchy maintenance seems "klunky" but admit I haven't thought of a better way of doing it yet
- If a user is not going to access their record/statement we should have the ability to not be charged a license fee just because a user record is created. I think there should be placeholder records which maybe can be at a significantly reduced fee rather than full license fee.
- We are able to pay a sales team one full pay cycle earlier
- Some support roles have been able to move to monthly payment from quarterly due to the use of Incent
- Not as complex as Trusteer
- Better comp functionality than Impartner.
