Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Zoho Projects was used as a collaboration tool across the company to track project status, timelines, and manage workloads. The tool gives you the ability create dependency task lists that start backward or forward. Integrations were helpful. Reports were used for internal visibility and assisted with overall management and expectations. Overall the tool was very easy to use with a simple user interface.

Usability

Zoho Projects is an easy project management tool to use. It provides all the functionality that we required for handling projects. We can easily create personal forms for projects and tasks, allowing us to add and report on our own desire. Apart from this we can create and edit documents in real time which saves our time. This allows us to share text docs, presentations, tables with the whole team and we can work on them together.

Support Rating

Customer services and support was great. I was able to get someone on the phone to assist where needed. Online support could use some ramping up but overall there are enough resources to get through any bumps. Their team is very responsive and makes sure you get a resolution for your solution.

Alternatives Considered

Smartsheet, monday.com, Trello and Workfront

Zoho Projects is far superior as a project management tool compared to the simple ones we investigated. The pricing was very competitive to the market and the free trial helped out with our proof of concept. Compared to Workfront, you get similar functionality but at a fraction of the costs.

It offers project scheduling and budgeting, which allows project managers to define project tasks, assign them to their teams, estimate project costs and follow up on in-progress tasks. Zoho Projects works well for collaboration of project management, issue tracking, managing overall workflow, setting timelines and overall expectations.
