Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

As a Zoom Workplace user of some years, we find the product extremely useful for giving presentations and interviews. Its screen sharing feature is particularly useful when having discussions with groups. Members of the group that wish to display information they feel relevant can do so. It also allows in chat pertainent information such as websites or other contact information can be shared. The ability ro record sessions for later referral a valuable tool.

Pros

  • Group Presentations
  • Interviews with clients that are traveling or not in our location
  • The ability to have a transcript of a Zoom Workplace session

Cons

  • Sometimes maybe due to internet bandwidth the picture can freeze
  • Audio can at times be muffled
  • In certain situations where some of the people are in the same location there are audio feedback issues
  • Reduced travel expenses
  • Saves time as attendees are not dependent on latecomers
  • In cases of emergencies or unexpected events (such as a plane cancelation) allows attendees to attend virually or review later
Ultimately it comes down to Zoom Workplace being more intuitive, the layout of the various buttons such as chat, sharing screen etc

Zoom Workplace works well for presentations where the group is in different locations. It allows for interaction between the participants. One project we did last year was to help a client with a memoir for a book. They wanted it in their own style of speaking. The ability to record go back and transcribe allowed for the project to be completed very efficiently.
