Totara Learning, headquartered in Wellington offers the Totara workforce learning management system with core LMS (Totara Learn) integratable social platform (Totara Social), support for instructor led learning, and cloud storage for learning materials, available on cloud.
We had a lot of reasons for choosing to partner with PSA for our Learn 360 platform. The others were a much larger price, were not as easy to use, were not as feature-rich, and didn't have us plugged into so many relevant titles at any time. They also didn't seem as adaptable …
its dependability and ergonomics. When a learner is enrolled in a course, the platform is simple for them to use. Although administration is quite straightforward, the creation and management of courses depends on well defined roles. Compared to other LMS platforms, the …
So we have a subscription to microsoft that has learning as well (provided by former lynda) and that doesn't do as well as 360Learning does, nor does it allow you the ability to create courses, everything is custom built by Lynda or third party resources so the ability to view …
360Learning does allow more grading features than its counterparts. As well, it's available on multiple platforms such as desktop, mobile as well as browser. Moreover, it provides customized login functionality which makes it easy to add a new user. Features like these make …
We use Udemy for Business and 360Learning in tandem. They do not have the collaboration feature, which really gives 360Learning an advantage. However, not being able to track the status of external programs does make that a little tricky to control.
The cost was a big factor when choosing the LMS. The ease of use was another. The learner UI is very easy to navigate. You can create courses without needing to purchase separate authoring tools.
This is my first role in the L&D sector but have previously used FUSE and Litmos has more engaging and consistant branding across the platform and easier navigation options.
Litmos was the easiest to use for our learners, which tipped the scales. The other platforms are easier for Franchise users, but our highest priority is the learner, so Litmos won.
We use articulate 360 in conjunction with Litmos. We find that Rise 360 provides a better development process and learner experience compared to built in Litmos content authoring tool. However we find the Litmos assessment tool is great for very basic assessments. It allows us …
In all my years here at NAVBLUE (7+) we have never had the need to review any other LMS. Even Airbus wanted us to review Litmos with them as they are trying to move away from Cornerstone on Demand for their customer training.
More available on the platform Content further up to date and more engaging reporting on Litmos is more informative however not as popular as more difficult to create reports
There are a ridiculous number of products on the market, each with their own merits. Litmos stands out amongst them all as it packs decent functionality, quality content, outstanding UX and awesome customer service all within a healthy contract pricing. If you want something …
Ten years ago we were looking for a simpler, less expensive solution than the traditional LMS vendors. And we didn't need grades or transcripts or complex course scheduling or registration. Since then I know a lot more competitors have come out, but we've ben so happy with …
Litmos has been more robust for us in terms of reporting as well as course organization. We also have the ability to use a subsite (another instance of Litmos) for groups outside of our main organization.
We selected Litmos in 2018 against My Trailhead from Salesforce. Litmos won out because My Trailhead was not well built out at the time and the Litmos sales team was good. We have always evaluated over the years with Absorb, Mindtickle, etc. and have elected to keep Litmos. …
The others are more robust and reporting is superior. They have had AI for longer and have more experience. Content from other vendors is more robust compared to Litmos and taught by experts in the field. Learning can be tied to specific skills and as part of the L&D strategy. …
Litmos has a more engaging interface and a more robust content authoring tool that allows for creating exportable learning course formats like SCORM. Litmos also has a much more streamlined and effective progress and completing reporting engine. In addition, Litmos has an …
I used Compliancewire at my previous company, and I loved the reporting functionality. We were regulated both federally and globally, so that was really important to us. With Litmos, I do feel like the user interface is much better, and that users have a better experience. I …
Most of the others we've looked at or have experience with are primarily focused on internal training. They lack critical functionality like a strong commerce engine.
We are legacy Litmos customers and have seen a lot of growth from Litmos, especially in the last 12 to 18 months. As we researched others, we found that Litmos could do the majority of the things others did at a more reasonable cost, and save us the headache of having to switch …
360Learning is an ideal choice for organizations looking to decentralize their learning and development initiatives and engage internal experts. With its user-friendly course builder, the platform enables us to easily train employees throughout the organization. The Champion Solution serves as a powerful project management tool, ensuring collaboration and alignment with SMEs to create top-notch content. The transparency in 360Learning's roadmap and the excellent support from the customer success team further enhance the overall experience. By choosing 360Learning, organizations can unlock the potential of their internal experts and revolutionize their learning and development processes
Limos is great for introducing a topic, and taking refreshrs yearly on info already know. Some courses are better suited to a live course, with discussion and questions. We support people with complex medical needs, and review with a nurse is critical.
As a real estate services company with properties (& employees) in six states, Totara LMS is well suited for implementing and our employee learning platform to our many team members that work remotely and cannot benefit from regular in-person learning courses. Totara LMS's comprehensive and customizable reporting system also allows us to accurately review and tell the story of employee performance and talent development, while tailoring this reporting to the needs of different internal stakeholders.
Sometimes the platform isn't as intuitive as I'd like
Frequent updates that can impact the guidelines we establish for our internal employees
Catalog access for courses is linked to programs requiring participants to retake a program instead of just replaying a singular course. This is being addressed in a future update.
I generally feel that any challenges I experience are due to the vast flexibility the platform has. My gut tells me that my minor issues are actually a result of certain functionality needing to be there to meet the needs of other customers, and it's not Litmos' fault that my specific workflow doesn't fit exactly into their functionality. It's a matter of me determining how I can update my workflow to fit the feature set.
For what we need in the very near future, Litmos does not offer us the required capability. Ideally, we are looking for an integrated LMS, coaching, mobile support and content creation platform. Litmos may have the LMS part covered but there are other platforms that do this better along with providing an integrated all-in-one service or at the very least support API integration with other vendors to meet our requirements.
You don't really need to be trained to use it, it's like social media. If not, there's full documentation available, it's not a steep learning curve at all. There's lots of advice about how to better use the platform too. I don't see any need for improvement here but left a 9/10 JUST in case.
Litmos is reliable, stable, and easy to use. Support is amazing, with great response times and customer success managers. I've implemented Litmos in 3 organizations and am working with another one currently. The features and functionality Litmos offers rival those of any other LMS out there.
If I could give it a negative rating I would. Worst support from any program I have had. Everything is back and forth in the support ticket. The one time I tried to chat they could not support the question. Their support page is so full of sections and products I can never find anything I need, even with a customized home page. I was hopeful that once they left SAP support might improve but it has not. I don't even know who my account executive is. Nobody has ever reached out to me. I need someone to guide me through best practices for our company and there is nobody to do that.
Easy to access both local support and support/advice from other Totara LMS users as we keep in regular contact as a part of the totara government users group. Our vendor also keeps in touch with this group and a lot of knowledge is shared. It's easy to access the Totara LMS users academy, and one of my administrators has also set up a local forum where they ask each other questions and share knowledge as well. Our vendor is easy to access via our support plan and we have monthly catch-ups with our account manager where we hear about anything new coming up.
It was a good overview of the platform, but of course it was more of a basic overview of how to use the platform. The team provided a good training, but I would of liked a better deep dive into some of the features.
Some of the best online training I've taken from any LMS platform. It was well put together and kept me engaged the entire time. It has a good amount of HR Compliance mixed with soft skills training that the team liked. Overall, it has a robust online suite of training that any company can use.
The company received a change in learning style from the old to this newer style. From our perspective, it was just a case of swapping out the scores and adjusting the language. The initial show-and-tell about the library we could use and how to use the materials was instrumental. From the learner's perspective, it was all very self-explanatory.
We had a lot of reasons for choosing to partner with PSA for our Learn 360 platform. The others were a much larger price, were not as easy to use, were not as feature-rich, and didn't have us plugged into so many relevant titles at any time. They also didn't seem as adaptable or have an AI component built in.
Litmos has been more robust for us in terms of reporting as well as course organization. We also have the ability to use a subsite (another instance of Litmos) for groups outside of our main organization.
Overall we find that Litmos' capability to organize folks by "Teams" is adequate for our needs... though there are some limitations, especially when it comes to supervisory staff being able to assign content to their employees. It would be nice for hierarchal assignments to be possible (directors being able to assign content to their direct reports... AND those under them).
Simplified Reporting: The Litmos Reporting engine has made it easier for us to generate detailed reports quickly and provide these to managers, helping them better support their teams with learning and compliance.
Increased Compliance: The availability of relevant compliance courses, ease of access to those courses and the ability to report on them quickly has helped us as a global business to improve compliance rates and timelines.
Improved Onboarding: Our onboarding process, and in particular, our induction process which is composed of a series of meetings, assignments and content study is being better tracked and delivered via Litmos features which support these things.
