ActiveCollab vs. Asana vs. We360.ai

Active Collab is great for small teams who want a web-based project management platform to help them on their day-to-day workflow tasks, billing, estimations, vendor assignments and even client communications. It is also great for agencies with users who are sometimes remotely working. Active Collab starts to show shortcomings when you have an immense amount of projects in the system (1000+), and, being a web-based platform, can sometimes experience downtime.

The usability of Asana is broad since it's available in a variety of platforms that are widely used nowadays. I think that it would be great for people who are constantly on the move and switching devices, since it has allowed me to work from my phone, too. I also think that Asana has proven itself to handle a large quantity of work

With the Help of real-time analytics, we are able to enhance the productivity of the employee. This feature helped us greatly in identifying the productivity leaks. With real-time analytics, we are able to identify unproductive platforms. With the detailed analysis, we can able to label the list of the platform as productive based on their suitability.

• It isn't possible to set members of staff as part time, so if someone is unavailable on certain days you must manually enter them as OOO every single day that they are not in, that other teammates work. Hours also can't be edited individually - everyone is treated as working the same hours in a day, rendering capacity planner useless for flexi working teams
• Subtasks cannot be assigned their own hours and deadlines, meaning the To Do list view can't be seen in actual date order and capacity planner does not reflect all time allocated to an individual's schedule unless every task is set up as a separate task rather than subtask
• There is no way to see all tasks of a certain type across multiple campaigns (e.g all copywriting tasks vs all technical tasks) - support team suggested exporting data and making spreadsheets
• Kanban view isn't available for people's own task lists ('board' view here shows a list)
• Not possible to have one task be assigned to more than one person
• Notifications are not sent when tasks are updated, so you have to leave comments and tag people each time

• Some users might find the user interface a bit dull and un inspired
• We found the way to use multiple workspaces a bit confusing
• It takes quite a bit of planning to build a well organized workspace in order not to have way too many projects and tasks all over the place

• If We360.ai could incorporate a feature of Payroll, then it would be a great consolation to the employers. As the Dashboard already has leave management and Attendance system, it would be helpful if the payroll process is also included in the platform.
• It would be really wonderful if We360.ai had a feature that allows me to send text messages or custom notifications to an individual. That would make the tool a complete productivity enhancement, employee monitoring, and workplace collaboration tool.

I just can't see us getting it off of Asana any time soon, despite the many headaches it has caused us. We have too much data in there, too much time & training invested into it, too much at stake to move. If we were just starting out today, fresh, I don't know for certain that I would absolutely go the same direction, but I *think* I still would. I just haven't seen anything better yet. Maybe if Podio's support staff hadn't treated me like a worthless nuisance to them, I might feel differently, but the fact is that their task management is simply inferior to Asana's. That can't be denied, and in fact Podio said it themselves: "Tasks are a simple function. They cannot be customized. Tasks in Podio can be used for quick to-do's for you and your team members." In our operation, however, prompt task completion is a big deal; one task can't be completed until another one is done first, and closing the gaps between those tasks is critical in meeting deadlines and servicing our customers. Asana gets us there, the others don't.

I think if We360.ai also offered mobile app , that would be great and I would definitely renew. rather than that , everything is perfect.

It is very user-friendly. Takes a new employee an hour to start figuring out how the system works. That's an important factor. You don't want to encounter the issue where employees need a week to understand how the system works. For example, JIRA, I tried using it for a week and I still don't understand the complicated layout. Asana has a simple interface. Once you see it, you get it type of program.

The support team is responsive to requests and their annual support fees are reasonable. Honestly, we don't have to contact them much. Updates happen automatically and the platform is very solid and does not require a lot of support. Documentation is good and the platform is easy to learn.

I haven't had to use their support so I can't rate it. The fact that I haven't needed them reflects the ease of use of the product. I would recommend that any new users schedule a complete demo of the product to ensure that they are using it to it's fullest (there's a lot of useful features).

Since some of my employees were working in international timings , We360.ai helped me implement it completely , they even had late shits and worked overtime but ultimately helped me get the product live in 2 days! Huge respect

Since we moved from fixed capacity project to T&M we need some tool who support our billing & invoicing. HP ALM did not provide good support for invoicing so we moved out from HP ALM to ActiveCollab. The features like Timer, reminders are not available in other project management tools like JIRA, Rally & ALM making AC the first choice since we have strict SLA's & AC helps in meeting that.

Asana is a top-tier project management software that helps us organize and track projects from start to finish. It allows us to apply tasks/to-dos to multiple projects without duplication, divide complex projects into smaller tasks, and track project progress. It also helps us organize work on Kanban boards or linear lists. It stands out from the crowd in a big way compared to the competition.

Firstly, we would say, SAP Analytics Cloud is way too expensive. Secondly, we have struggled too much to find trustworthy information to manage users' usage of the application. Lastly, the tool does not support mail programming, which should be a must in a BI application. Whereas We360.ai has a wide variety of analytics tools with a very wide variety of reporting, data collaboration, and various management reporting sharing options. 1) A huge amount of company data can be processed and managing becomes so easy along with processing as well. 2) Has improved a lot of stuff on the front of procuring to pay system.

• A central communication portal is used to keep all members of the team informed as to the status of specific projects. All staff have access to read past discussions to enable contribution to the current discussion.
• We have found it difficult to get our clients to adopt usage of ActiveCollab for communication on a reliable basis.
• The cost per person is high when using it as a communication center.

• Difficulty adding large projects with multiple and complex levels of tasks.
• The number of users is limited in the free version. The service cannot be used for groups of less than 5 people.
• The search filter is not a powerful feature, it needs some development and strength because it contains some bugs sometimes.

• The Task and project management feature allows us to create tasks for our employees from the dashboard where we can review the person and add a new task for them. This feature not only keeps us updated about the ongoing tasks but also helps us keep track of the total time it took to start and end a task from their end.
• It was not easy to track our employees on such a scale that is now possible. The exchange of data regarding workplace analytics took a lot of time and energy from all the departments. The best part is that all the departments of our office have felt relieved because of We360.ai, for which we are really thankful.
• Before implementing We360.ai, our team was working at a regular pace with set standards of quality and quantity work. After implementing it, as promised by the team of We360.ai, our team's productivity increased at exponential rates. All the data can be analysed and shared with reports that are present in the dashboard. This product has directly affected our revenue in a very positive manner.
