Cons

  • The functionality is still buggy. Several features are not reliable such as posting videos to YouTube.
  • The systems is not good if you're looking to correlate posts to campaigns that are not specifically lead gen activities.

  • Browser compatibility. I use chrome and sometimes the page doesn't fit properly or it gets stuck and won't refresh.
  • The way the pop-ups for scheduling work. Sometimes they look deformed or don't fit on the screen of my full sized laptop. It's odd the way they pop out and don't function properly.
  • The app has a long way to go. It's getting better with every up date, but I wish it was as user-friendly as the website.

The service is on a downward spiral. Once a great product, Adobe is focusing their efforts in the wrong components of the tool. The listening component is not very good, yet seems to be the only component that Adobe wants to emphasize. Analytics are getting better in Facebook native and Adobe Social has not kept up. There would be great value in the tool if they were able to integrate more robust analytics for hard to measure platforms like Google+ and Twitter, but metrics for these are still scarce or inaccurate

Sprout Social is extremely easy to use and would only require minimal training for a new user. They have many features and functionalities that I absolutely love. I can't speak highly enough of their mobile app! As I've mentioned, this app has been a life saver when I've been traveling and have been unable to access a desktop

The customer support is a big reason why I continue to use and love Sprout Social. I also used Sprout while working with a previous employer, so they have been familiar with my name for quite some time now. You always have access to a person 24/7 - whether it be via email, phone, live chat (love it!) or even if you tweet your issue to them. I've tweeted an issue in the past via my personal account and have received a response in 10 minutes or less! Their customer service and support is top-notch

Training was long and a little confusing. While a number of features carried over, they were still covered in this elongated training. It would have been nice to have training tailored to experience level with the product.

The trainers are very resourceful and are able to deliver the knowledge to all trainees. The simpleness of using Sprout Social, despite its amazing technical capabilities, is by itself a big encouragement boost

The implementation was done during our POC. We had a very mixed experience here, and have had some issues arise since based on the way the tool was implemented. An Adobe employee went ahead and made a change to our account that was unauthorized (helpful for our implementation) which caused issues in on boarding another team who needed the same change, but could not get it done without costly Adobe certification

I didnt have the option to select it for this client. They came to us with this tool. I believe it's quality and has a lot to offer in terms of really driving Social ROI with an integration with bitly

  • We are able to provide better customer service on our social channels due to the fact that we are able to receive the majority of our social mentions quickly and efficiently.
  • We are also able to tag and track our Influencers.
  • Sprout is a cheaper solution than a lot of the enterprise products in the market although it lacks some of the listening and analytics tools the more robust platforms have.
