Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

My team and I primarily used Sprout Social for scheduling out social media posts from our main accounts, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. This capability allowed our team to plan and execute our social media posts more easily and effectively used our time. The analytics available through Sporit Social provided a singular space to review the data for our social media.

Pros

  • Schedule social posts.
  • Integrates with social accounts.
  • Provides data analytics ima single space.

Cons

  • The employer advocacy function is clunky.
  • Sometimes the approvals functionality didn’t work as intended.
  • Scheduling to Instagram in a headache.
  • Time savings for the team.
  • Project management with approvals.
  • Faster time to value of ROI.
Yes, Sprout Social did help my organization measure and improve the ROI of our social efforts by enabling our data analytics to be viewed in a single source. This cut down on the effort and data confusion when we manually went from platform to platform to gather our social data.
We had no issues with integrating Sprint Social with our various social media platforms, nor did we experience an issue integrating the technology into our overall marketing technology stack.
Sprout Social's ease of use and navigation throughout the technology are relatively easy to figure out and teach. We also had a representative thoroughly walk us through the features and functionality to set us up for success in using the platform. I didn’t give it a ten because there were times when the navigation didn’t make sense, but once you figured out the quirks, it didn’t cause any trouble.
We ultimately selected Sprout Social because the social media team we were partnering with used the platform and insisted we use the same technology to avoid gaps in team functionality. Compared to Hootsuite, it’s the same but has more available functions. Compared to HubSpot Marketing Hub, it provides a more thorough capability for a fraction of the price. Compared to GaggleAMP, the social advocacy is similar, but Sprout is a more robust solution.

Do you think Sprout Social delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sprout Social's feature set?

Yes

Did Sprout Social live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Sprout Social go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sprout Social again?

Yes

Sprout Social is great for a marketing team where each employee wears many hats because it allows the team to save time and work more efficiently. It isn't ideal for single-person marketing teams or small businesses. If you only use two primary social media accounts, then this won’t be as useful to you as a company that is active on many different platforms.
