The features that Dell EMC and Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager offer are similar, and both are backed up by an impressive client portfolio. The difference is given by the cost,Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager, unfortunately, has a higher cost, in a world where Data …
Due Company's strategy we selected Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager. Due to some strategy alignments, we choose Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager in order to have the replication to be managed by OS layer and not Storage one - where it's possible to System Administrators …
Chargebee is much better in terms of clean intuitive product features, inbuilt analytics, and implementation support. Zoho has so many products and their focus is not their billing product. But they give free trials and you need to pay per licence only if you scale. overall, I …
Yes, it is one of the payments gateways but they have so many features like recurring subscriptions, invoicing, and all at very very affordable prices and with great support. I wish chargebee look at the pricing at least for developing countries like India.
We looked at Stripe for a while, just based off of previous knowledge and awareness of the system. Chargebee's design and interface stood out against other SaaS platforms and the integration you have while using it is a must have. Maximizing revenue was a focal point and the …
One of the easiest and cheapest way in order to work on the separate billing system which includes sales in the production also maintains in order to collect payments from different payment gateway which is one of the easiest task in the beginning for the procedure and provide …
Chargebee stands out among other service providers because of its user-friendly interface and accessibility. The documentation is also very extensive and gives developers a lot of options. It connects all of our client billing information into our database, which our sales …
Chargebee is a class apart from Zoho books - better in all aspects - better interface, more functionalities, integrations that actually work, responsive support, customisable automated reporting, more customizability.
The only difference is pricing - Zoho comes at about 10% of …
The major reason to go with chargebee is its costing as compared to its competitors it is much useful and value for money. Also it has many features that is very practical and efficient to use it.I recommend to the people who involves low costing as well as futuristic features.
We evaluated Chargebee vs. Zuora and Stripe. Zuora has a lot of enterprise-level companies, so from an optics perspective is "safer", but we found their integration to be more difficult, their cost to be more expensive, their UI to be more complicated, and their APIs to be …
I believe that for monthly subscription payments, Chargebee is easier to navigate and use than SaaSoptics. That said, I believe it lacks some of the advanced functionality. While I’m not fully sure if that is the case, I think that maybe due to its goals being different. The …
I considered using WooCommerce, cart66, Sam cart, Shopify, big commerce, and a few others I can't recall at the moment. Each one of those options had either limiting abilities to create flexible plans or required expensive add-ons that would make it the timeline to …
It was too troublesome to use Stripe. Connecting Stripe to Chargebee was so much easier and the invoices were exactly how I wanted them to be. It was just easier to organize all your plans in Chargebee, and I loved the numerous type of emails you could send out to …
A strong balance between flexibility and simplicity -- Chargebee has proved to be a product that is well liked across the organization, and from a technical standpoint does not present too many hiccups for our developers. We also feel the pricepoint is good in a market which …
Chargebee's price per feature set beat out Recurly, it's the closest competitor that we evaluated. Its automated subscription billing was a core feature over Xero (our accounting and invoicing system, which we still use in tandem with Chargebee). Stripe's new features that just …
Honestly I didn't look into recurly much, nor have I used them because it was a lot more expensive (for an early stage startup like ours was when we started using it). At least as far as I recall, they could have changed their pricing structure but they don't list their pricing …
Maxio (via information we found on their website and in the initial sales call) seemed like the most comprehensive fit at the time and we liked the interface. We eventually found out that there was a massive gap between what was promised us and what was actually delivered. …
I inherited SaaSOptics from several predecessors that worked on it before me. I believe they used Chargebee or Chargify before SaaSOptics, but I haven't used them. I pray that the market comes up with a better product for subscription revenue management, SaaS metric reporting, …
The reporting is better than what I've used in other products. I have been very impressed with the range and availability of the metrics. It's been a few years since I used Recurly regularly, but I have no need to look elsewhere for billing management needs after working with …
QuickBooks is what we originally used for invoicing, but we outgrew that and it was taking up a lot of time to manually create invoices. We also were tracking invoicing on an Excel spreadsheet for 500 customers, so there was a lot of room for error. SaaSOptics eliminated these …
Chargify is easier to use and manage. The Achilles heel is the 3rd-party integrations, where the options are limited. If managing a few products or businesses, this can be the more ideal option. WooCommerce has easy integration with WordPress but it requires the help of …
We did not evaluate other options. We decided to go with Chargify based on the ease of use and the ability to have multiple sites within one account. It accomplished what we needed to and for a price that was within our budget. At the time, Chargify was a great fit and we …
The other products (QuickBooks and Salesforce) are complementary to SaaSOptics. I have not used any products that compete directly with SaaSOptics although I understand there are several out there.
Insight squared did not integrate with HubSpot which is what we use as our CRM. We chose SaaSOptics because it offered GAAP compliant revenue recognition, great reporting, and the user experience quality was high.
Zuora is a B2C subscription billing system best used for companies like Netflix. For a B2B company, the sales process can be much more complex and Zuora was never able to handle that. For the 2 years we struggled with Zuora (now referred to the dark ages within our company) we …
We evaluated Recurly early on but rejected it because at the time it did not support the payment gateway we needed, and lacked some metered billing stuff that we needed. I understand they now have improved, but we did not go back to re-try them.
We evaluated several recurring billing services - but Chargify was the only one we found that supported our current merchant portal. They had the widest selection of merchant portals - and the most competitive service fees.
We previously used another recurring processor. Although their product worked well and was much cheaper, their customer service became increasingly less responsive. Chargify's API is equally easy to implement as our previous recurring payment processor..
Pricing ends up being pretty close across the board with their main competitors. What it came down to for us is having a vendor that went the extra mile and we felt that Chagify met that and they have exceeded that expectation.
As said before Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager is very useful for DR scenarios where you have your data up-to-date in another site/place where your Recovery Point Objective should be short - this is our case regarding some critical applications - and VOM is the best tool, in my opinion, to make those things happen.
Chargebee is also one of the best platform in order to provide proper billing management to the customers by providing their configuration needs to be corrected in order to deploy and made the connection relevant to the specific position which is one of the best usecase. It also provides support in order to rectifying issues.
SaaSOptics is awesome for growing companies that want to automate their invoicing. I like that it is also aimed at subscription based sales structures rather than sales that occur at a single point in time (but has the ability to support both). SaaSOptics makes it super easy to keep track of subscriptions, renewals, co-terms, etc. The reporting is a great feature, but we are unable to use most of the reports as we are a cash-based accounting firm. SO caters to accrual accounting and GAAP compliant firms which makes sense as it is the most commonly accepted accounting basis here in the US, but many small SaaS start-ups are still operating on cash basis. We are one of those companies, so we are able to get a ton of use out of the invoicing side of things, a lot of the reports are useless for us. We also wish SO had a commission module since we already integrate our CRM and accounting softwares into it, but that is not a make it or break it for us. We love the time SO has saved us.
[I feel] customer service never actually fixes any problems. They make you gather information they easily could, write up a big report of the problem, and then tell you why it's not working (usually not even correct). [In my experience] they never actually solve a problem. Not to mention, [in my experience] you can never speak with anyone immediately and coms turnaround is usually over 24 hours.
So far, I can not get my customers to checkout online, even after hiring professional developers to help.
[I believe] QBO sync is a mess.
My account is set up to send payment tokens to Authorize.Net, and no matter how much I disable every possible security feature, I still have 100's of declined cards, that work perfectly well.
It's very easy to use once you know what you're doing. I found it very straight forward once I got the hang of things and was able to create plans easily for my business. I was also able to just charge my clients right away easily. Refunding was also easy when needed.
They are willing to help with most challenges and are pretty easy to get ahold of by phone. They are limited in their reach, when it comes to bulk cancellations, along with some other bulk edits. It is no fault to them, Chargify is just a system that hasn’t been upgraded much over the years.
The features that Dell EMC and Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager offer are similar, and both are backed up by an impressive client portfolio. The difference is given by the cost,Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager, unfortunately, has a higher cost, in a world where Data Protection solutions are not the main reason why clients might choose you from a list of options. I believe that if it would diversify its portfolio, Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager would keep its leading marketing position for small-medium-size companies as well.
Chargebee is a class apart from Zoho Books - better in all aspects - better interface, more functionalities, integrations that actually work, responsive support, customisable automated reporting, more customizability. The only difference is pricing - Zoho comes at about 10% of what Chargebee costs. So for startups looking to graduate from Google Sheets and on a budget - Zoho will serve your purposes - but eventually will have to move to something like a Chargebee.
Maxio (via information we found on their website and in the initial sales call) seemed like the most comprehensive fit at the time and we liked the interface. We eventually found out that there was a massive gap between what was promised us and what was actually delivered. Below is an excerpt to an email that we sent to the technical solutions consultant and sales rep three months after purchase: "I am, however, frustrated that a solution promised in the demo call ended up being a solution that was so cumbersome that 1) no one knew how to implement it except [tech consultant], who I was never able to get ahold of 2) it delayed our launch by two months and resulted in real frustration for my team and thousands of dollars in lost revenue and 3) brought more effort and annoyance to our customers than we were anticipating. I'm bringing this to your attention because I strongly feel that there has been a discrepancy between possible solutions and actual solutions. It is frustrating to make a purchase decision based on features discussed during a demo call, develop a plan of action based on what was discussed, and then have to iterate for months on end. It is also frustrating to hear that something is an "easy" solution by one team member and then hear it is "difficult and not recommended" by another."
By keeping the data safe, with scheduled deletion options of certain sensitive information, we keep our company safe and avoid fines, reputational damage.
While the overall cost of Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager solutions are high, choosing or changing the location of where the data is stored in EU comes free of charge.
Automatic backup and recovery of data helps us maintain of certain level of trust, less disturbance in daily operations, reducing the high cost that tech data outages would cause.
Chargebee has allowed us to focus on the most important part of our business: the product, instead of cumbersome development to manage subscriptions. The time ROI that it saved allowing us to get our product to market was invaluable.
Chargebee also made sense financially. Paying the subscription was far cheaper than developing something similar (or even far inferior) ourselves
Overall it's saved us quite a bit of time, money, and allows employees to easily manage subscriptions which is extremely important to us.
SaaSOptics has helped decrease the time spent on month-end. Their reporting is always accurate and reconciling deferred revenue is no longer a headache.
Increased accuracy in billing which has decreased the amount of invoice inquiries by our clients.
Sped up the quote-to-cash process with Salesforce.com and Stripe integration. Sales orders are processed faster and customers are utilizing "buttons" on invoices to submit payment details.
Increased our ability to stay on top of past due invoices with new collections module.
The metrics in SaaSOptics has improved financial presentations by providing more insight into our business.
