Likelihood to Recommend BriteVerify does a great job preventing disposable and junk leads from coming into
Salesforce which saves sales reps time. I like the fact that you can see on the layout if an email is good or not. I don't believe this is a downfall on BriteVerify but I wish Accept All emails would still return valid or not valid so you could see if someone is still with the company or not.
Read full review The scenario we most commonly use Hunter for is to quickly find and retrieve contact email information. Phone numbers are an added bonus, but they tend to only be available for contacts in the US. SDRs have the extension in order to confirm or to help them "guess" as to what a contact's email address might be. This speeds up our prospecting time considerably. Where Hunter falls short is not being flexible where companies have more than one email format.
Read full review Pros It is a quick API call effort that is easy to implement with only 4 responses. There is the ability to upload a list and API calls, so that makes it easy to use. Easy to download the list of Invalids in multiple file formats. Read full review Hunter provides a quick and easy way to look up the email format for any company using the free Google Chrome extension. Hunter allows you to upload a bulk list of emails and verify them easily. Hunter shows where verified emails were found on web pages and PDF documents. This shows that the emails were published by trusted sources. Read full review Cons Occasionally, we'll need to test like 1 or 2 records and instead of importing a list of 2 records, it would be nice to have a landing page to enter 1 address and run it to get on-screen messaging on results. It would be nice to see ECOA (email change of address) data on the report too for invalid email addresses. Read full review Hunter is only as valuable as the information it is able to scrape from the internet. If a company has not listed any email addresses online, then Hunter is not going to be able to find it. Sometimes Hunter is only able to identify non-personal-specific email addresses (ex: info @, support@, etc.). This makes it difficult to identify personnel emails Sometimes companies will have different email domains that Hunter is not able to correlate. For example, when searching for an email address at Lead.com, Hunter is not able to point to ParentCompany.com email addresses that would be more useful. Only one such experience indicates to me that they are highly responsive to customer needs.
Read full review Alternatives Considered I've used a few in the past that weren't on the list to be mentioned in addition to
NeverBounce . FreshAddress is a tool I use the 2nd most after BriteVerify. I have evaluated Webbula to and they have a unique offering.
Read full review We have been trying to get lead information on SalesTools and PLENTY, however, these two tools are mostly oriented to create follow-up campaigns and the setup is pretty complicated. If you are looking to create just a list of semi-qualified leads, you may try Hunter, but SalesTools has already an inner feature to build prospects in a better way.
Read full review Return on Investment It has provided a very good return on investment when it comes to improvements in email deliverability and limiting spam complaints. It has allowed us to meet our objectives by removing contacts who are invalid and suspicious contacts (i.e. signed up for our service and provided a fake email address). It has allowed us to improve our overall bounce rates and delivery rates across our bulk mail sending to prospective customers. Read full review Positive to be sure. I don't always get the results I want, but I use the free version and I'm satisfied to go there first when I need an email It's a fast quality product. It was better before when it resided on my LinkedIn account, but that's another matter... Read full review ScreenShots
