Chose BrowserStack
BrowserStack was cheaper so we went with it instead.
Chose BrowserStack
We use BrowserStack not because we consider it the best but because it's good enough and has other pros.
Maybe LambdaTest has one function that we love and we need but BrowserStack is well known and is good enough for our needs.
It is easy to use and everyone can make it work, …
Chose BrowserStack
I looked into other software, but I did not find any of them to be as intuitive as BrowserStack. It was easy to use and had all of the devices we required for testing. The pricing structure also suited the needs of our team. Other team members had familiarity with BrowserStack …
Chose BrowserStack
The main, direct competition to Browserstack is CrossBrowserTesting platform. It is very similar really. Has the same features plus a few more i.e. you can connect it to Slack and JIRA which we are using on daily basis. You can also take multiple screenshots of various devices …

Chose BitBar
There wasn't a lot of differences so I went with what i was already familiar with which is CrossBrowserTesting

BrowserStack
Scanning QR and adding item in basket and completing E2E flows. If you have a use case where you want to test application under test on different Apple devices with different iOS /iPadOS versions with real devices, then BrowserStack is one stop solution for you. The support team is also quick and gets a resolution within 24hrs or at least they acknowledge, which is the good part.

CrossBrowserTesting is a great tool to use when you have a new page or new content that you want to test on an array of devices/browsers. In the diverse online world nowadays, it is nearly impossible to ensure optimization for every case. CBT allows you to get closer to that goal.

Cons
BrowserStack
  • I would appreciate if they increase their maximum session time limit. Their current session limit is around 2 hours and for some lengthy end to end use cases we have, that becomes a hurdle.
  • Right now, the session recordings are unavailable after 30 days. I would appreciate if that availability is extended beyond that time frame.
  • Would love to have information about their Dedicated Device Cloud service available on the Browserstack website similar to other plans.
  • Would love to have an option for purchasing a plan that is more than 5 parallels, directly from the website instead of contacting sales team for that.

  • Test case support is somewhat limited in customization ability.
  • Not a unique problem to them (or their 'fault'), but content behind VPN or intranet cannot be scanned.
  • Pricing with tier level and features can sometimes be confusing (ie. what is and what is not included).

This decisions mostly taken by senior management at VP and CEO level, they also need approval from many other teams like dev, design according to the use, and finance due to competitive cost, They do check other product as well, and I am just a single person from QA team, and not a decision maker

Usability
BrowserStack
It integrates directly in internal networks and local development. The point and click interface of choosing your device, pick the browser/version and you have a working emulation of that exact environment. What else could you ask for? I've set our least computer savvy users up with BrowserStack for testing in minutes. It feels like it's just part of your local environemnt.

Performance
BrowserStack
The tests are fast considering the fact that they're Appium tests. I've seen tests reliably pass or fail when they're supposed to, with next to zero issues on the BrowserStack side of things. Tests launch only seconds after I kick off them off from my CLI.

Support Rating
BrowserStack
I'm saying a 10 for support for BrowserStack only based on feedback from the development team. I myself have never had to reach out to support for any questions or issues, but others in the company have. From my conversations with them, the support was fantastic and had been a pleasure working with the BrowserStack team.

We did a benchmark to compare multiple criterias: Security, reliability, Sound, Variety of devices, availability of devices, how long before new released devices are made available, easy to use, extra features, customer support, company reference, integration with our tools. BrowserStack got the highest score and the overall price was also cheaper than their competitors.

Selenium: 1. Selenium is Open source tool 2. Needs proper framework development and integration with multiple 3rd party tools 3. Not much secure 4. Needs scripting knowledge for people working on it 5. takes time and effort CrossBrowser Testing: 1. Licensed , so secure 2. Less time , less effort 3. Quick results 4.
