I used Hootsuite before and it was a good tool, but the UI and overall UX wasn't that great. Hootsuite did the job, but it wasn't as enjoyable to use it as it's with Buffer. So the main reason I selected Buffer is the user experience and it being an easy-to-use product.
I used Asana for a short time, but liked Trello more. It's just more visual and fun to use. Trello does the job, works pretty good and overall our team liked it, so we didn't try other tools. Also, it's great that Trello offers so many integrations with the tools we already use.
