It is quite suited for all the SMS, emails, and other in-game campaigns, but wherein the delivery rate I personally feel it is less, and it has [a] limitation on 5 pins for the day for 1 user, it should be unlimited.

If you have a large or small blog following/audience, this is an excellent tool to help keep readers engaged and on top of your new content releases. You can also utilize this product for automated DRIP campaigns that will, following a schedule you create, notify users at preset intervals to help nurture your leads or existing customers as part of your sales funnel. Even new bloggers with smaller audiences can utilize a tool like this to help generate more consistent web traffic to your content. I am averaging a +16% clickthrough rate regularly on my RSS to push notifications after just a few months of use.

WebEngage can easily reduce turnaround time for product and marketing teams to execute marketing campaigns for specific user segments as well as remove any dependency on internal tech teams for the development and maintenance of automation journeys. Further, A/B tests can be executed to measure the performance of message variants in real-time directly from the panel. But WebEngage lacks a robust Analytics platform. While basic metrics such as open rate and click-through rate for messages being sent can be considered for reporting, attribution is still not the strongest suit in case the marketing team relies on multiple Ad networks for acquisition. Thus, as per experience, it's better to use the automation suite offered by WebEngage with a different data analytics platform.

• User communication: it provides a single dashboard to help us reach out to our users via email, push, web push, SMS, in-app and now even WhatsApp. Not just that, we can set up various types of targeting, such as one-time, recurring, date/time based, etc.
• Analytics: it offers various views and cuts to analyze the user data, be it in the form of trends, funnels, recency-frequency, user cohorts and segments, etc.
• Tracking: it helps us track the impact of various paid and organic marketing channels, through which we can adjust spends and focus on the channels that make an impact.

• Easy-to-use admin system; even non-technical team members could understand what to do without training.

• Customer service isn't that great [from my experience], most of the time the team is puzzled or will leave the client puzzled.
• Price is very high with respect to the features available. MAU based pricing with a flawed sense of MAU calculation.
• The way they calculate MAU is morally wrong. If a customer opens my email that I am sending via AWS, and they don't even come on my app, how can you consider them as active user?

• I can tell they are based somewhere on the other side of the world, so when it's middle of the day here in the USA, they aren't always very responsive.
• There have been a couple hiccups with billing issues that mainly stemmed from them not having an internal billing system, but had it outsourced to another company.

Their support staff are experts who are beyond helpful! I needed support with a certificate issue, after migrating one of our sites from HTTP to HTTPS, They handled it and helped very effectively, absolutely loved the cooperation. They saved me a lot of time with guiding me over the issues and I didn't needed to search on forums and read technical documentation on my own.

Edit: Clevertap added attribution tools to its features, making it possible to track your user acquisition sources. CleverTap is as complete as Localytics. It provides us good segmentation, analysis and engagement tools for a good competitive price. T̶h̶e̶ ̶o̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶d̶o̶w̶n̶s̶i̶d̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶C̶l̶e̶v̶e̶r̶t̶a̶p̶ ̶d̶o̶e̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶t̶t̶r̶i̶b̶u̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶l̶s̶,̶ ̶w̶h̶i̶l̶e̶ ̶L̶o̶c̶a̶l̶y̶t̶i̶c̶s̶ ̶d̶o̶e̶s̶. WebEngage's dashboard is relatively more intuitive and easy to understand. Further in terms of cost as well it is value to money as it delivers excellent ROI. The after-sales support is also better in terms of responsiveness and helps in case of issues with the execution of campaigns. The account managers also ideate and help in the optimization and creation of new user journeys.

• More return. In general the people who sign like the notifications and usually return.
• Organic growth. The list of subscribers increase over time, so is a well worth the investment.
• It's a bit expensive, so the ROI at the beginning is not the expected because the cost.
