The main difference maker for us was pricing. Zoho's pricing was much more competitive for a company our size. We also liked that we could try the software before committing to it.
Before, it was a nightmare of spreadsheets, email templates, and needless to say, many many applicants fell through the cracks or left with a bad impression of our firm due to the poor communication. With Trakstar, we're able to easily track where every applicant is in the funnel, collect information on how they are doing, and manage the whole communication process. I love being able to work in both Gmail and in their software and I love how it tracks the conversations so that I can easily go back and review where things are with any given applicant. That said, the product is more geared toward someone that is hiring for one person per role. We make it work, but there is a lot of functionality that doesn't get used because of that
With the business I am in I have to be able to search and reach potential candidates from hours away due to the scope of the contract we have covering a solid couple hundred sq. miles of the state; so being able to have a software that can search, sort, rank, and suggest candidates without having to spend ours of time or driving hours for an interview I can connect with one person and make a decision and have the software there for them and send an email or two with the steps and instructions and 5 minutes later be doing the same for another candidate hours away without even needing to leave the office or even from home and knowing that I'm able to monitor and adjust the steps or make adjustments along the way and being able to trust that it is choosing quality candidates and able to help me hire the right people to do my job to keep my contractors and homeowners safe is amazing for our business.
You can create your own fully customized job board, so that you have indefinite openings for different types of jobs, and so that all interested parties can apply to meet certain openings. This is an excellent way to organize each candidate from the beginning.
Recruiterbox lets us program our own workflows within the platform, which are useful to better define the work organization that must be in place for all recruiting processes to meet the right requirements, and this is reflected in improved reporting.
The platform automatically creates analyses based on the resumes of each candidate, so that, depending on each resume, they are shown offers that are fully compatible with their type of employee and their previous work operations.
We like the customer service offered by Recruiterbox, which has been able to meet our employment needs in a short time and in a mostly accurate way. Thanks to this, we were able to solve the usage error we had with the platform and our current results are much more profitable in terms of analytics of recruitment operations.
Recruiterbox is an exemplary service in terms of usability mechanics, with an extraordinary ease of application and a deployment that allows us to work on different platforms without any usability problems or labor errors, as with most human talent services nowadays.
Like other HR-based services, Zoho Recruit allows you to track the behavior of candidates during the execution of your hiring process, so that you can create constant notes of any problems that may arise and that may prevent a proper job.
The relationship between employers and candidates can be measured, which is excellent for creating reports on the development of each hiring process, and employees can then be evaluated on their ability to manage and communicate correctly with each candidate under their direct care.
Hiring sessions can be recorded using a variety of methods. It does not necessarily have to be done using an audiovisual recording tool (which is possible through different integrations) but a convenient recording system that allows you to note down important data, and where even the candidate's photographs can be saved.
We believe that some features of Zoho Recruit's support service could be improved, although this is probably a general service by the Zoho team for all their programs. The staff is not sufficiently explanatory, and therefore we have not been able to meet our expectations for troubleshooting.
We like that using Zoho Recruit is so convenient, and that it interfaces well with the other services that the entire Zoho suite has to offer: Zoho Recruit is a good alternative for human resources, which shows a reliable and easy-to-manage operability, so that all registration and follow-up processes are simple.
Interface isn't great - there's a lot of clicking around required that I wish was streamlined
This isn't a self-explanatory platform - you have to dig around a while before you figure out how to use some features, like the filtering of contacts, for example. There's a place that you'd think you filter, but that actually changes the contacts list instead.
It often crashes and you have to sign out and sign back in for it to work again.
The interface isn't dazzling. But it's clean. Perhaps there's some opportunity to sexy up the UI.
The labeling was a bit awkward, and doesn't work so cleanly when you forward a candidate to the data store, via the application email. For example, you can add the candidate manually using the web-based UI, or you can forward an application from your email client to an email alias. Also, the conversion from email-to-"creation of candidate profile" was not entirely great. But it was close enough to get the name logged in there. You just have to properly label and format the profile later, if you want the candidate repository to be well sorted and easily searchable.
You cannot transfer jobs from one account to another. What I mean by this is: If you have multiple organizations within a single tenant, you can move the position within that tenant. But let's say you and a colleague signed up separately, and want to merge candidate databases and job settings. It's a no go. You'll have to do a bulk import. Which kind worked out to be an imperfect migration for us.
Zoho Recruit should allow for customization of pipelines based on department/role to be hired.
Zoho Recruit should allow for customization of the vendor portal allowing the vendor to type in key data points about candidate profiles that are typically not found on the resume, such as notice period, current salary and expected salary.
Zoho Recruit could simplify the blueprinting process built into the tool which allows for smooth flow of candidates through the system.
We have not renewed our subscription for Recruiterbox. Although it is a great platform with great customer service, it does not have the functionality our company needs to be able to scale and there weren't plans to develop that functionality soon.
We have evaluated every other ATS on the market, and do so every 1-2 years just to make sure we aren't missing out on anything better, and found that Zoho offers more functionality than any ATS with a per-recruiter-price under $100. Once it introduces automated job alerts and candidate login functionality there will be no reason for us to look elsewhere.
Recruiterbox is extremely easy to use and to learn. The only function that is difficult to use, even once you have the hang of the system, is reporting.
Usually the Crelate support is very responsive and quick to fix any problems that arise. I've personally seen emails of the threads where Crelate support was quick to resolve problems and act courteously while doing so. While I have never called their line, it seems that their phone support is also well experienced.
I give Zoho Recruit this rating because over all, it has helped me to organize my candidates and saved me time and energy in organizing them myself. Without Zoho Recruit, I simply would not be able to keep my talent pool straight, and it certainly gets the job done. I took off a couple points because if I download a resume after already inputting the candidate into Zoho, it won't automatically sync the two profiles up. It also does not remind me when a task is expired.
Recruiterbox does not have as many features as other products I have used, however I would rate it very strong for ease of use. If you need something simple & out of the box, I had no complaints. I also experienced very few, if any, bugs while using the product.
Zohorecruit is the best platform for small and mid-sized companies. It will help us to save lots of time in the recruitment and hiring journey. We have used Oorwin also in the past, but this is much better than the Oorwin, and it's very robust and easy to use, and the site is very fast.
Crelate has allowed me to customize my recruiting process for business development. This will be a great ROI moving forward.
Crelate links all candidates to the company that they work for. This is extremely important to quickly identify profiles in the database with the companies that they work for. Sounds simple but very important!
