We selected dialpad as we thought it was a stronger product for our business but now we are not sure if we made the right decision
Dialpad might not be the cheapest option, however, when it comes to reliability is top notch, other phone system providers may offer a comprehensive suite of services unifying CRM, Chat and Phones. Where Dialpad excels is the adoption of Artificial Intelligence for several of …
We used Nextiva for several years as our main VoIP Phone solution. The system was reliable but the software is nowhere near as user friendly.. It is night and day and is the main reason we switched. You need a degree in Nextiva's platform to be able to make changes to your call …

Dialpad has way more services and the chat-to-text feature so we can reread anything that was misconstrued is a great feature. The connection with Nextiva wasn't reliable and the service was more expensive. Also Dialpad's customer service is so much better, they are so quick to …
Nextiva was much more confusing and more expensive. IT was nearly impossible for me to make changes to my account or auto attendant. When I saw Dialpad had a more user friendly interface, I switched immediately. We are very glad that we did. Nextiva has been around longer, …
They never kick my employees off duty for missing a call, therefore they dont miss anymore for going off duty accidentally. Users have different issues that Dialpad Talk support has not been able to resolve

Lower price and fewer glitches, better features, and more user friendly. I used to have another company that took hours to get someone on the phone for support. With Dialpad Talk, I have someone in an instant and they are very helpful. Never once had any glitches, unlike other …
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. You need an inhouse IT department to manage Nextiva. HORRIBLE customer service, HORRIBLE quality in the audio and video service. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
At the time (over 3 years ago) Dialpad was the only cloud-based VOIP vendor that offered this wealth of features, modern design, and highly active change log. Now that other vendors have caught up there's less and less reason to use Dialpad so I can no longer recommend it to …
The number one standout for Dialpad is its ease of use. 30 minutes at most to configure. With the competition, you cannot even get done with the "introductory" phone call in that time.
The second standout is the price. The price per line provides a much better value.
Nextiva was able to price match us and provide the best customer service for technical setup. Nextiva also stacked up well in terms of service quality and sales responsiveness.
Among all of the other PBX solutions I've ever worked with, Nextiva is by far the easiest and most efficient to install, implement, and service. The tech support and onboarding teams are amazing as well. I hold certifications on over 10 PBX systems, but this one is the best …
It is well-suited for basic calling functionality, but has been a poor experience for us when used for texting, as it lacks some of the features of other platforms, such as Haymarket. It is also challenging to capture good analytics, as this is neither easy nor clear for users to find.
We have had great service with Nextiva Business Phone Service and it is reliable and reasonably priced for the offered features. User Friendly and minimal issues. We are able to control most of the set up for new users and or new phones when needed. Only would like to see the app - Nextiva One be enhanced with more features than it currently has.
The only example I can list for improvement is that occasionally the message has some mistranslation(s). But I can usually figure out the missing words. The 'southern USA' dialect may be partly to blame....
The functionality is really great. It is the best app I have used for messages in all of my customer service jobs.
The use of two apps when you're a supervisor. We have to use Unity and the Nextiva app instead of one app. It can be cumbersome.
Better integration with CRM's. We use Zendesk and it works ok as it does pull up customer records if we have their phone number on file. But it would be better if we could have more functionality from one place and have it write to the CRM directly.
Accept higher quality audio for greeting recordings. We had to trim the file size down several times losing a lot of audio quality in the process. Mono is fine since callers will only need to hear the one channel. But the Hz limit and file size limit were rough.
Dialpad Talk is easy to use and no one has had a problem using it. Even when we have had questions/problems we have been able to fix it ourselves without having to go to Dialpad to ask for help, which saves everyone time. We don't have any reason to cancel our use of this product and we are very happy with how it performs for our team.
Its user friendly, easy to use and has been very reliable. We have nothing but good things to say about our service with Nextiva Business Phone Service. When needed their support team has always resolved any and all issues one way or another. They have been helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The features vs the cost is wonderful compared to other service providers.
Dialpad Connect is good and recommended for any organization. It is a good value. It can accomplish everything that your organization is looking for, and no one will say it is outside the budget for any 50+ person organization. The AI feature is very useful. The dashboard could be a bit easier to manage, and the integration with Salesforce could be a bit smoother.
The whole system sucks. It’s the worst and we are stuck. They won’t price match, they won’t even consider the other quotes we have and all they tell us to buy out and move on. They’re money grabbing snakes who need to go away. How they have this many stars is insane. I don’t know how people are writing these reviews
There have not been any outages that I am aware of and we have had consistently good coverage since the start. There can be a slight lag from the office to the mobile app, but it is not terribly noticeable and it has not resulted in any calls being prematurely hung up
The emails of voice transcription come very quickly after a call has been completed and except for a few fairly difficult names are pretty accurate. The ability to quickly listen to the voicemail from email without having to open the app is also a bonus. I have not noticed or heard of any slowdowns
The original date for roll-out, was unable to happen because there was an issue finding our existing phone lines to port them... The only reason I gave a 9 is [that] the original person we have been working with, Rolled out phones. Pro without telling anyone and then went on vacation, I only say this to explain that there is a gentleman that took over to help us named Brett and he was FANTASTIC! He allowed a ton of calls and answered all of them, walked us [through] settings, profile set up, and even emailed screen shares so we could help other members of our team! Thanks so much, Brett you ROCK~
Support is great. We usually get someone on the phone; they answer our questions and help us with our issues. They are responsive when we call, and there is also a wealth of information on their online help center, which will typically answer our question or send us in the right direction.
Simple and easy to follow, we had our branches around the country to be trained and the feedback was great. Only take if there was a desk phone training that would be great. The team provided us with video for the desk phone training
No was done by Agency Owner and was done with the help of Nextiva Support and Sales team. Went very well and has been working great since then. Was originally only two phones and then we continue to add to that. We did not have any reported issues and was a great experience for our Agency and Small Business.
Panterra is dependable and has good support. Dialpad Connect has more features and an easier interface. AT&T has a lot of features, but Dialpad Connect's interface is easier. AT&T does not do call transcription that I know of. Comcast BVE and 8x8 services are lower quality and service is not great.
We switched for better uptime, ease of use, and better tech support and got all that from Nextiva. We were constantly losing connection with our previous provider, a package service for internet and phone. The web portal is much easier to use, and the call center offers many more features.
Overall program is of average cost. SInce I use it simply for its phone/text capabilities. I would hazard that company that needed more options, might see it differently
So far, Dialpad has been a great improvement for our organization. It allows everyone to be on the same service and the integration with the mobile app means everyone is still using the "office" numbers even when on the go which makes it easier not having to balance multiple phone numbers from people
ROI - we are saving money, a lot of money, and we have a MUCH better phone system
Consolidation - we migrated 6 different phone systems in 6 different counties into one, and it's been wonderful!
Management - managing this system is so much better than Mitel, Panasonic, and any other system I have used. We are able to assign rights to certain staff to also make changes, and it's user friendly and almost fool proof.
