Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We were using 6 different analog phone systems and our company is spread out in 6 counties with over 30 facilities. We have staff working remotely, moving between offices, and in other states, all now using one phone system. Nextiva Business Phone Service does many things, but for us it unified all our staff into one system. It's so nice to be able to call anyone in my company no matter where I am, and I don't even use a desk phone any more I just use the NextivaOne app on my PC and the same app on my mobile, and any calls I make show my office caller ID and NOT my personal number, which is a big plus for our agency. This system is awesome, we got a great introductory price, and while it wasn't perfect they have assigned a dedicated team to our company and we know them all by name, so if issues do come up it's very easy to resolve. I can honestly say that Nextiva Business Phone Service is by far the best teleco company I have ever worked with in 25 years in IT Administration!

Pros and Cons

Up time, since we have started using this in 2022 we have not had one outage.
Call flow - super easy to manage, edit, change. Nice to call from anywhere like it's my office
The app, both PC and mobile, are fantastic! The staff are even better, very friendly and helpful!

Billing - the only issue we have had is related to billing. They started a new system late in 2022 and it's had some issues, but they are working through them.
Communication between staff and teams at Nextiva Business Phone Service can be an issue at times, sometimes the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing.
They don't send out free tacos - kidding of course but I don't have any complaints. The billing and communication are small issues but that is all I could think of.

Return on Investment

ROI - we are saving money, a lot of money, and we have a MUCH better phone system
Consolidation - we migrated 6 different phone systems in 6 different counties into one, and it's been wonderful!
Management - managing this system is so much better than Mitel, Panasonic, and any other system I have used. We are able to assign rights to certain staff to also make changes, and it's user friendly and almost fool proof.

RingCentral Contact Center

We were comparing RingCental and Nextiva Business Phone Service when we narrowed it down. We looked at many others and RingCentral was where we landed. We got a call one day just as we were about to sign with RC, and it was from an outside partner of Nextiva Business Phone Service who suggested we give them a try. That was one of the best unsolicited calls I've ever taken, and I'm so glad I answered. Everything RC was willing to offer us Nextiva Business Phone Service either matched or improved. We were offered free months to sign with RC, and Nextiva Business Phone Service doubled it. We were offered a number of free Polycom business phones from RC, and Nextiva Business Phone Service matched that and also upgraded the models for many of our front office staff. Where Nextiva Business Phone Service won this decision however was how they included and related to our staff on the sales demo. The sales rep at Nextiva Business Phone Service did his homework, learned all the people's names in the meeting, and what their role is at our company. He asked direct questions, by name, to staff to see what they think. It was an amazing sales pitch, and everyone loved it.

We made the jump to full VOIP in 2022, and Nextiva Business Phone Service really shined from day one. We were looking at one of their biggest competitors, and honestly had not considered Nextiva Business Phone Service as many didn't know about the company. We ended up narrowing down our choice between two companies, Nextiva Business Phone Service and one other. It was not even close, the sales demo was so much more inclusive from Nextiva Business Phone Service, the sales rep did his homework and knew the people by name from our company, and their role. The other demo was filled with dead air and sadness. We migrated 6 different (and some ancient) phone systems into one, and we have over 30 facilities spread out all over. The Nextiva Business Phone Service solution has been a game changer for me as the IT Administrator. So much easier to navigate, we have a dedicated team who are very responsive to our needs, and the system just works. They gave us great pricing which actually saved us money from our analog system, and I can call from anywhere in the world just like I'm sitting at my desk. I think Nextiva Business Phone Service will become a household name, get in now while it's still cheap!
