Likelihood to Recommend Ridder iQ is very good to use for normal processes in the making industry. You can easily customize it with calculated and custom fields and widgets. But more extensive customizing is more difficult. You need to be able to programm and the integration of other software/webapps is difficult. Therefore the no/low code functionality and api endpoints of Ridder iQ should be extended. Ridder iQ is unfortunately not to use on a smartphone of something like that.
Read full review The software is really good for managing inputs and inventory as well as maintaining traceability. The "track picking moves" functionality lets you look into a specific lot or serial numbers and view all the product moves that occurred with that lot. However, some navigation is not intuitive. For example, if I click on an item in the BoM of an assembly, then click the back button to go back to the assembly, the site goes all the way back to the home screen. Some of these quirks mean that there is a learning curve for the software, but overall the tracking is very good.
Read full review Pros You can easily make yourself calculated columns You can easily make yourself new tables and fields You can easily make yourself adapted screens, widgets, etc. You can easily make yourself email templates You can easily make yourself scheduled tasks Tables and fields have clear names what is very handy to work with Read full review Ignore requests for support continue to collect money from users through micro-charges; apps, supports, etc. Offer no support when they do finally respond, saying that it's the app developer's duty. Creates a system that forces people that are good with software systems to pay for support Read full review Cons Trouble shooting/call center is worthless. In the past we had a question and this will be solved. Now we have a question and we are called back a couple of days later and very often they can solve it but are not allowed to solve it and you need to pay for a consultant Pricing is very high, for every stupid things we need to pay the top price Information is not always good. We bought a new system and wanted to install this (Kronos). Asked several times to have some information about the installation. I received nothing and the asnwer was that we needed a consultant (read we need to pay). At the end I solved it by myself and that was rather easy. Read full review Community version is sometimes hard to maintain, needs some on-premise knowledge (IT) or having business with an Odoo partner that is sometimes expensive and unreliable. Enterprise version is as expensive as other ERP in the market. Reporting is horrible, not a lot of possibility to integrate seamlessly with a third party BI platform. Read full review Usability Overall Ridder iQ is good to use. You can easily do small customizations to fields, screens, widgets, etc. There is also room for improvements to be able to easily adapt rights in roles, more no/low code functionality, webbased iQ, api endpoints, etc.
Read full review I would give it an average rating despite being easy to use, but the user interface is very poor and not intuitive at all which makes the whole experience not that good. Also, the system is not mobile friendly at all which is annoying if you want to check something on the go.
Read full review Support Rating Easy - there is NO SUPPORT (like in ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!). Even for legally mandatory requirements where the system MUST work, they will gladly take a month to get back to you with a NON-answer. We couldn't even get our bank statements correctly into Odoo for 2 months - leading to no reconciliation and the company accounts were a mess (still are!!) as a result - Completely irresponsible. Have not EVEN had an apology from Odoo - they couldn't care less !!
Read full review Alternatives Considered Ridder iQ is specialized for our business and has people who bring a lot of knowledge to the table, so Ridder iQ is far more suited than a ERP solution which is not specilized in the make-industry. Furthermore, the customizability of Ridder stands out compared to solutions like ISAH. Therefore, the choice was an easy one, because knowledge and customizability are important criteria.
Read full review I selected Odoo because it is all in the cloud online and it is very easy to conect from everywhere, but then it did nos suit what we wanted in other fields and the service was poor,so we deceided to cancel the contract, but never get our money back since november 2020.
Read full review Return on Investment Some employees continue to find it a difficult program and I think this is partly because the options seem endless and it is sometimes difficult to find the right layout. This also applies to me as an administrator, many options, which is of course also positive. with the downside that it is sometimes difficult to search within Ridder IQ Read full review The integration of the support department in the sales processes was easily carried out by implementing Odoo. Improved functionality and UI of the sales and logistics related processes in the company. Read full review ScreenShots
