Overall, Egencia is a good tool for my employees to use when I (or my work partner) aren't available to make the reservations. They can easily access their account and the charges will go on the corporate credit card. This makes it all around easy for the traveling employees.
Expensify proves to be an excellent solution for small to medium-sized companies, offering intuitive features that significantly streamline expense management. However, for larger enterprises with extensive user bases, managing a high volume of users directly through the application can present administrative challenges, potentially impacting overall efficiency
Credit Cards management. No different than any high quality bank card.
Expense report management. Amazingly simple and has improved our staff's reporting quality.
Reimbursement and spend approvals. You set the approval process we have multiple people who supervise approvals and the system is easy to set up and use.
Customer service was awful. It was a running joke that when we had to call customer service for something (frequent), it was a crap-shoot whether we were going to get someone that knew what they were doing.
The website was not intuitive and sometimes made it difficult to find the flights we wanted. Most of the admins resorted to looking for flights on other services and then searching for that flight specifically in Egencia.
We like using the tool and we receive positive feedback from employees and management who use the tool. It saves time and helps us concentrate on the value adding activities so we are very likely to keep using Expensify in the future
Works great, no significant issues. Easy to use platform that just works without issues. I also like that I can access the reports on my computer and on the app, which allows me to create reports from my computer but input data from the app. Makes it super easy for work
When I had a problem with cancelled and rescheduled flight Egencia team was not helpful at all. They claimed that in their system the flight is still happening hence they will not advise on anything else. I had to spend a lot of time calling the airline to clarify the details and to find out when my flight is happening in the end.
Our rep has been amazing. He has built custom reports for us that have been very time consuming and difficult. Our reps are also currently looking into new submission solutions for us that we are excited about. They came up with this and recommended it on their own without me complaining about an issue. They are about our success and are very excited about the product they offer.
The implementation process went rather smoothly, linking it to the bank and cards was handled easily. without too many unnecessary steps. Getting the accounts setup did take some time, but that would be true with any organization. All in all things went smoothly and I was very pleased with the setup and implementation process
It's not even close! Axios was much more difficult to navigate than Egencia. In my opinion, Egencia more closely mirrors travel booking systems we all use outside of work, which makes training much easier for new users. The ability to automatically download calendar invites, share itineraries, and download PDF receipts is such a big help
Expensify is miles ahead of SAP Concur. Expensify is easier to use to track expenses, track reimbursements, and where it shines the most over SAP Concur is for filling in expenses. The mobile version of SAP Concur is terrible. In Expensify, I can take a picture of my receipt and it will SmartScan it. If I want to do it manually, I can usually fill out all the details my company needs in about 30 seconds. The other feature I deeply love is the Uber integration. When I select a ride for Business, it automatically appears in my currently open Expensify report. I don't have to do any manual receipt uploading which is amazing. When I used Concur at a previous employer, I would dread filling expense reports. With Expensify, it's no longer a nuisance.
