Formstack Documents vs. IBM Sterling Configure, Price, Quote vs. SAP CPQ

[Formstack Documents (formerly WebMerge) is] well suited for a mid-size organization that has multiple data inputs and needs to provide structure and professional document generation. As helpful as it is, the cost would prevent smaller businesses from realizing the cost savings that a larger one will.

Were it not for the fact that IBM CPQ lacks mobile and tablet applications, I would have recommended it 100%. However, I still have that 99% recommendation rate since this solution has saved us a lot by allowing us to close more sales within a short period by creating a channel where we collaborate with customers by offering coupons, sending price lists and orders.

I would recommend SAP CPQ because it is powerful and works really well for handling complex pricing quotes and approvals. It save time and keep everything in one systems.

• We've had some issues with document formatting when the Formstack document comes through. Nothing outrageous, but it has been very inconvenient and annoying.
• The Formstack website is not attractive or user friendly.
• I think it could be clearer to Formstack users that it is a tool that needs another tool, not a tool all its own.

• Unfortunately, IBM CPQ does not have on-premises applications to use while not connected to the internet. This is no more a challenge since we have a robust WIFI connection in our organization premises.

We definitely want to renew based on the functionality and the use we give to it. However you never know 100% so that's why it is not a 10. Let's imagine if pricing changed significantly or they made sudden changes to the product which we considered negative... Then we would move elsewhere. This is highly unlikely though

it make the pricing and quoting part easier and able to integrate with other sap products easily but the ui could have been better and the customizations is not straight forward, requires deep expertise. which make the work more difficult. but instead of custom designing. this way we can reduce the coding and can go straight ahead with custom pricing part

Each of the programs above answered a specific call to action. While each addressed a small portion of our need, they never quite fit the bill for what we needed. It was actually a representative from three of the ones above which selected WebMerge. They wanted to sell their product, but knew that we would be unfulfilled if we went with them

There are tons of Configure, Price and Quote software, but I have not used a lot of them. However, unlike IBM CPQ, HubSpot Sales Hub isn’t operated in compliance with any ISO standards and secured in a data center making it easy to leak customer sensitive data such as payment details.

It connect much better with our existing SAP system like ERP and S/4HANA. keeping everything in sync automatically. Approval processes and automation are faster. reducing email and manual work.

Our service team is on the phone and it takes away from the customer service if they are having to input the same information on applications. Web Merge eliminates additional key strokes while giving customers more time to run their business.
