Considered Both Products
FrontSpin
Chose FrontSpin
Works much better than Xant - I would avoid that one at all costs. Is easier to use than Groove and Outreach but does lack some of the more advanced features.
Chose FrontSpin
It is good for basic calling but it isn't made for email templates and setting up a cadence as Outreach does.

Outreach has a better format for seeing who has called what lead and being able to see who you have called that day.
Chose FrontSpin
Based purely on cost - the other two were more robust and did more, but we had a limited budget and FrontSpin more than covered our needs.
Chose FrontSpin
The cost of ConnectLeader far outweighed the benefits in our specific case and didn't have most of the functions of Frontspin.
Salesforce's and Hubspot's dialer aren't power dialers so you can't load a list and go. That is a HUGE benefit of FrontSpin.
Orum
Chose Orum
Orum is levels above Aircall. I experienced a lot of connectivity issues with Aircall—especially call drops, poor audio quality, and “infinite” ringing. I have not experienced any connectivity issues with Orum so far. Orum also goes the extra mile with its HubSpot CRM …
Chose Orum
Orum felt the easiest to use. Aircall and Salesloft function better as single dial diallers, the parallel features either don't exist or function quite poorly.

There are less differentiators between Orum and Nooks, but I found that Orum's UI, and reporting gelled better with our …
Chose Orum
There were generally 2 major factors that drove our decision to move forward with Orum initially over Nice CXOne & Outreach's dialer tool; power dialer & local caller IDs. Orum gave us the ability to easily make dials to a list of prospects in an efficient manner that other …
Chose Orum
I have both Orum and Outreach but use Orum for instances where I need to call at scale. Outreach is designed for one-off calls but does not have nearly the breadth and quality of resources for dialing at scale that Orum does.
Chose Orum
Because Orum is much more efficient, easier to use, create a solid workflow and overall is a much better experience, which helps getting revenue and better results. Other tools would use a lot of my time with no results, while Orum has been much more efficient saves me time and …
Chose Orum
Orum and Outreach have similar capabilities. Outreach can create sequences for calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other tasks. Orum increases the efficiency of calls so working with both software creates a good tandem effort for outbound work. As both have there downfalls - the …
Chose Orum
Faster Speed in Dialing, the ability to have more numbers to dial with just helps in a faster call pick up rate and overall a better experience.
Chose Orum
We have tested doing calls through Salesloft and Apollo directly, but the Orum workflow was much easier.
Chose Orum
Most competitors with existing dialer products seems to stepping away or divesting from products like this, while Orum continue to have a high level of focus and innovate to build a product addressing a critical market need.
Chose Orum
We went with Orum because they offered better pricing.
Chose Orum
Orum definitely has a layout that is strong, and the follow ups, notes, and the feedback your SDR manager or Sales manager can give you is priceless on this, at the end of the day this tool can be used to coach reps and also the tags can help get infront of your ICP faster.
Chose Orum
We looked at other tools like Connect-And-Sell. Orum is the only one with such a low cost, due to using AI as opposed to overseas call centers.
Chose Orum
PhoneBurner is a good dialer as well and might be a better fit for a different use case, but as of my writing this review, they do not have a direct integration with Outreach. They allow a third-party (PieSync) to make certain "if-than" connections, but PhoneBurner didn't make …

Works extremely well for an SDR/BDR team whose main focus is outreach through phone calls. Less appropriate for organizations looking for email cadence or a Salesforce add-on to work within Salesforce.

Orum is perfectly suited to any company that has a large team of SDRs hitting the phones regularly. The way it utilises data and lists is immense, and the power of it's parallel dialler means any high volume sales team is going to thrive using it. I found that the salesfloor feature is super useful for team morale and coaching, especially with the live listen feature. It also helps with in-team competitions, as all users can see and use the statistics, helping to drive motivation and achieve better results

Cons
  • Ability to see Salesforce 'Event' types in the lead record.
  • Make column edits sticky
  • Keep doing a great job guys, love your product!

  • Calls get cut off more regularly than I would expect. I am not sure if that is an issue on Orum's end, but I don't think it is a network issue either so I am not sure why.
  • In the search lists, it would be nice if we could add favorite cadences or separate by our own.

Usability
Trained a new recruit on FrontSpin in one session. It's very intuitive.

Orum has truly leveled up my calling abilities like no tool has. Its intuitive UI, rapid auto-dialer, and customizability have made it my go-to call tool. There may be slight improvements to be made from a CRM integration standpoint (much of which isn't Orum's fault because outreach doesn't give data), but beyond that I would give a strong recommendation for users looking to implement personalization at scale.

They do well with their support. Wait times are low, and they are eager to help.

I have not needed to interact with their support team yet, so I cannot give a valid response. So far, their tool is simple and straightforward to use.

  • It has helped us make a lot more calls and keep track of activities done throughout the day.
  • It helps us keep a certain number of calls for each day.

  • As a BDR, setting meetings is how I get most of my Bonus, and Orum has allowed me to do this more easily by reaching more prospects
  • Whereas before I may only be able to make 500 calls a week if I really grinded, I can make 1,000+ calls a week using Orum even easier
  • Orum's masking of my number has allowed me to get on the phone with folks that had seemingly been ghosting me for months, which has allowed me to grow my business
