We use Google Ads Manager to manage ad campaigns on Google I found that Google Ads Manager was confusing, had a steep learning curve, and had poor documentation. I found myself having to look at tutorials from other websites. I find this to be true of most Google products. They …
Google streamlines the process and is supremely easier to use than Facebook for Business (utilized for Facebook ad management.). Facebook's control over their management system makes the program much more cumbersome and less effective. Meanwhile, as mentioned, the Google Ad …
Google Ad Manager is the best simply because of how great it is to advertise on the largest search engine on the internet. The other platforms I think have better dashboards and segmentation options but Google is the best because their audience is the largest and most focused …
We think Google Ads Manager is better because it is more simple. It's holistic because it really optimizes what's best for our brands and campaigns. It doesn't just serve out our ads to a number of people. Google Ads Manager makes sure that we serve them out to the right people.
Facebook for Business has the best self-serve interface. It copied the capabilities and structure of Google and then surpassed it. They are the pioneers in the industry and the first to become compliant with iOS14.5, CCPA, GDPR and any other new regulations. We've found it hard …
Facebook for Business offers its unique platform, user reach, targeting and interest classifications that most other platforms fail to offer. It's ads management, with analytics, insights, etc. makes it offer three-sixty degree solutions, such as being a one-stop-shop for …
Facebook for Business is about the same as the competitor tools that I have used. I wouldn't say it's any better or any worse. Ideally, we would use a third party tool that integrated with Facebook for Business and other providers, like Google My Business, so that we could …
I prefer Facebook for Business as it seems to be a more effective way to market to my customer base. I do slightly prefer the user interface on Google Ads, however I get better results with Facebook for Business. It allows for far more creativity with designing the ad. Also, …
It all comes down to your targeted audience. If you believe that your potential customers are existing users on Facebook, then Facebook for Business is the service for you!
Facebook for Business provides some of the most cost-effective returns of any ad platform we use, at very high volumes. Its user database, ad formats and targeting options are unrivaled. However, the platform itself can be glitchy, and lately has been mired in social and …
Depending on the goals of a campaign Facebook for Business can be the best channel or the worst. It's not overly expensive and sizable reach is achievable. The scale in which you can target a large (or small) audience is easy and only Google is comparable. The quality of the …
Google Ads Manager is great if you need major visibility on a large ad network rather than targeting one specific website, app or platform. Let's be real here if you have any business that is done online (sell products, generate leads, etc) you pretty much have to be on Google. I've tried other advertising solutions including competitor search engines, sponsored content solutions, social media advertising, and none really compare to the traffic you can get that is keyword-driven, meaning a user is actually demonstrating interest in whatever you sell or offer.
Meta for Business has made a lot of improvements, but a lot of work still needs to be done as far as troubleshooting. I've had ad issues for months. It's probably getting close to a year. Every time I've submitted troubleshooting tickets, they're either slow to respond or don't respond at all. More than five times I've asked for help with getting the ad issues resolved. This included an online meeting (quite a first), emailing them, and even chatting with them. I went as far as multiple submissions of the materials they requested; I'm still at square one.
Interface. You can understand how to build the ads very easily. When you first begin, and throughout the process, there are little help icons which explain what you need to understand.
Pricing. By this, I mean the ability to change it at any time. You can select a variable rate, or you can preset it. Either way, you can change how much you spend every second if you'd like. This makes it easier to control your budget if you need to make emergency purchases and don't have much space in your budget.
Always growing. They are always announcing something new. Always growing and always trying to update.
Geographical targeting - Facebook has the best geographical advert targeting of any social media platform out there. It allows us to target towns and even the smallest districts, in our target locations.
Pricing - At the moment, Facebook is the cheapest social media platform to advertise on, coupled with the fact it is still the largest mainstream social media platform.
Analytics - Facebook for Business provides us with broad and concise analytical data, detailing how each and every of our advert campaigns was received by targeted users. By diving into this provided analytics, we have been able to continuously improve every aspect of our social media advertising campaigns.
Bumper Machine - While this is still in beta, there is a lot of room for improvement for the machine to pick proper clips. I'm sure that will come in time though.
Inclusion of a Home Page Button - This is a simple request, truly, but one that bothers me everyday. I have a campaign home button, but it's not accessible unless you go back to the beginning of the platform. If the 'home' button was static, I'd be able to go to my preferred view with one click instead of having to loop around, as there isn't a trustworthy 'back button' option either.
Display - This is a big one. I have a love/hate relationship with display campaigns and algorithms. I have seen where they can perform [strongly] but also be massive budget bleeds with little ROI. It's not very industry specific either so I'm hoping to gain more consistency and trust with the future of the display algorithm.
Approval of ads and in general customer service sucks. They won't make you feel like a customer. You'll have to be very careful and beg in case they cancel your account (it happened to us once and they were completely mistaken).
Scaling the creation and management of ads was huge room for improvement. The platform is slow and it still misses many massive actions and copying campaigns from one type doesn't let you use the same ads for a different objective... many small management problems that aggregated are not so well.
More visibility on their optimization process, so we can also take advantage of it. Some things are a black box.
Catalog management works fine but still misses many features to make our lives easier.
I think it's useful for our team and we rely on it to improve our business. It is within our budget also. Although we still will need an approval from the upper-level management team, I don't see any problem with that
We have to continue using this tool in order to be effective on this marketing platform. Though there are several changes I wish we could see, the fact is that we will still need to use this product to provide customers with the information they need.
Love the product and how the GUI is as it is user friendly. When working with the product it is better to have some knowledge of what ad's you want to deploy where so that it is easier to use and move forward.
I gave it this rating because it is so easy to learn to use and you are able to grow a following quickly by knowing when to post and who to post to or how to get in front of those prospects easily, and using those prospects to reach even further without any additional processes on your end through the sharing from your engaged readers.
I could say a lot about this topic. As an agency, we get a new [representative] to talk to almost every quarter to go over select accounts and the campaigns within. Most of the time, these [educated representatives], don't provide any new feedback, or I just simply [disagree] with their approach. This is not all the time however. I have learned a lot from a rare few, [individuals] that have given me new strategies and access to betas early on. The other side of support, is the [overseas support platform]. [It] is usually not very helpful, but you can [emphasize] issues and they can research [them]. The Google Tag Implementation team is pristine though. When you need them, you need to set an appointment, which is usually 2 weeks out; they are so over-my-head intelligent, I've never had a bad experience with them and whenever I needed them for a fix, they solved it [within] the first call.
I've found the Facebook for Business support to be hit or miss. For billing questions they're timely and helpful. For complex questions about specific services I've often received a longer wait and a less helpful experience. I'm often redirected to their docs, which are often not particularly helpful.
If you don't want to display your feed to your boss before going over scheduled posts for the week, use the Business site and it will be less awkward instantly. Having someone lean over your shoulder is always a bit awkward, you think about how you smell, maybe consider offering them gum because they have bad breath
The main advantage of Google Ad Manager over The Trade Desk is based on the fact that Google Ad Manager has better data to identify a user on any device as it has more data and the user is signed in over Google Ad Manager´s set of properties. That is why results on Google Ad Manager´s platform are better as The Trade Desk needs to develop a unified id solution that is more complex and less performing that Google Ad Manager's data.
Facebook stacks up against them in terms of its service. I choose Facebook for Business since I use it for business for almost more than a year now and I need to say this it is the most best possible business tool definitely a must-have for all the businesses type.
Overall positive ROI has been achieved using this platform. You must have a clear understanding of where your CPL maximums are to remain profitable and either optimize to success or pull the plug on campaigns that are bleeding spend.
This is a great platform to build new audiences or grow existing ones.
Building audience segments via pixel tracking is a huge win for this platform.
