Since it allows you to tag candidates based on their level of talent or potential utility to the company, it is best used to identify the best prospects in large operations, such as multi-franchise oriented businesses that cover all kinds of sales. It can be used to make periodic assessments of the level of employee growth in certain departments, and based on the results let us know if certain employees would do better working in another type of area, so that the overall work operations are more uniform. JazzHR could excel in departments that use a high level of reporting, as its administrative tools provide high content reports with statistics on the performance of each employee or candidate at different levels.
We are continually expanding our use of Rippling. Although we moved away from their ATS, we added app management in the fall and will be adding device and inventory management shortly. Rippling has proven to be well suited to the following situations: 1) our fast-growing, multi-state, multi-country workforce 2) bringing IT and people operations together (with app, device, and inventory management) and boosting the reach and impact of our 1-person IT team 3) consolidating your tech stack. We use separate software for spend management and survey engagement, but will consider pivoting to Rippling's products in these areas in the future
The time off management section asks me to either select an entire day, or, ask me to enter a start time for hours off, then ask for how many hours off. A good fix would be to let me enter when a work day starts/ends and have the system do the math for you by just entering when you will leave.
It worked well for the majority of our needs and is still in use even though I've left the company. The Resumator was an interim solution until we found a system that integrated with all our other internal systems. However, we ended up staying with it because of ease of use
Because it is through my current job I would recommend it to other friends with businesses both large and small. It is an easy to use app and it is super helpful and beneficial for time tracking and ensuring accuracy of the time clock. It notifies you when you are close to your allotted PTO limit which is also a neat feature.
It's not a 10 due to the eTemplates. If those were less time-consuming to set up and if some common forms were available to select from already set up, then I would give it a 10.
Rippling's intuitive design allows an organization to modify features and add functionality in a flexible and efficient manner. With Rippling, the finance team was able to integrate different business requirements very quickly without the need to incur consultant fees. A startup is always changing in terms of organization, salaries, direct reporting, and departments. With Rippling we were implementing changes as quickly as they arose and while meeting other legal and regulatory reporting requirements.
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
Each person I've spoken to have been helpful, positive and encouraging. Once you begin using JazzHR, they have intervals in which they reach out to you to see how you're doing or if you have any questions. When you're setting up, they review what you've done and offer praise as well as suggestions on how to make it work better for you. They offer webinars and online training videos to walk you through every process.
I would give it a 10 but sometimes there is a long lag time in getting help on more complex items. Quick HR items are dealt with quickly, but others like state employee taxes and such take much more longer to get to the right person to help out
A solutions consultant walked me through each step. It was easy. As I progressed in setting things up, their support contacted me to set a time to walk through any possible issues and make suggestions on a better way to set it up. At any time, if I had a question, they were available and there are also training documents and videos available.
Both Greenhouse and Lever at least seemed to have great products and great teams; they simply weren't worth 2-5X the cost for us. Now, let's be clear - a platform that helps you hire the best people is a certainly worth 2-5X (or perhaps 10X) the cost. However, for most small and medium businesses, the three platforms are very similar. Once you have ~100s of different positions or ~100,000 applicants, then a more advanced ATS could be worth the cost. For us, Jazz is excellent. We have about 8 types of roles and 250 employees, and we see the Jazz system working very well for us even as we grow to 1,000+ employees.
Rippling is much better for dividing paychecks. It also has a much easier user interface and user experience. Rippling offers a much wider range of features and functionality than Quickbooks. Also, Rippling provides better data analytics and visualization for paychecks than Quickbooks. Overall, I believe Rippling stacks up much better when compared to Quickbooks.
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
I feel like it has dramatically sped up general onboarding time. New employees do not need to dedicate 2-3 hours with HR just to get their work documentation submitted on their first day. This has resulted in more time back to the employee to learn the ins/outs of their role.
The notification and task system has allowed for staff to be in charge of their benefits and puts less time on managers to constantly follow up and remind their team.
