Jira Align is the more superior tool as compared to others. With the kind of integrations Jira has made with Slack and email, it is straightforward to use and keep track of the things happening within the team.
I think there is nothing like this out there. The point is nobody can have a second thought about it and it will be the first choice of anybody for the quantum of things it has to offer and as a whole what it brings to the table. Acts as a solid database of things done in the …
Microsoft Azure Devops won't have the major functionality of software management like Jira. The customization provided by Jira is having a cutting edge over any project management tool. Adds-on and Plugins feature in the Jira Tool make it as perfect as desired task management …
Jira is very easy to use and is very flexible. You can use Jira to easily fit your company's needs. It is perfect for Agile methodology and allows for easy communication between teams. Basecamp is more rigid and does not have as much road mapping or ticketing capabilities as …
I would prefer to use Jira over ServiceNow or Rally. Not only am I most comfortable with Jira, but I think most teams are due to its historical use. Jira's workflow capabilities, although complex, really allow for a lot of customization that is sometimes needed for extremely …
Atlassian Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) is formatted in a way that's conducive to software development and Agile methodology. These other programs have their own, different uses in tracking, and are typically clunkier than Atlassian Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft).
Jira provides a large advantage over some competitors, such as Harvest which is more of simple time tracking software, but without the connectivity provided between team members. Furthermore, Asana is a close competitor, but does not provide the same level of integration with …

Atlassian Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) has an excellent suite of tools that integrate well with other tools and offers full support for various agile frameworks, including SAFe. It's just a complete integrated package, whereas some other tools seem to be lacking in …
Atlassian Jira is packed with features, though it costs more to have Jira compared to its competitors still it performs well for a large organization which depends a lot on digital channels for retail. For us, during product evaluation, Jira was the first choice compared to …
This is a great alternative for many companies. It is especially helpful and beneficial if you have non-technical workers that need to interact with the software platform. This is a much simpler platform to have those employees use given their lower technical knowledge. In the …
We actually had Smartsheet evaluated after we began use of Jira and determined that even though Jira serves a better purpose for our tech teams, all other teams found it much better to use Smartsheet as it continues with the project and Excel type feel that most are used to. …
Jira basic version do not have basic support for test management, capacity planning & forecasting.
Rally is good & rich in features but if you want to implement safe , Agilecraft is definitely a better choice.
Planview Changepoint helps us to understand our key customers enabling us to capitalize on every financial opportunity and helps us to forecast demand against the capacities required for new opportunities, and also it automates and monitors contractual terms and conditions. It …
Changepoint was selected for its cost and what it can do. I was not involved in the decision to purchase Changepoint, but it appears to be a good decision.
The system predates me as I was not working for the company when the solution was chosen - I understand this may have been an 'overpromise, underdeliver' scenario. However, we are now moving towards replacing it with Supportworks - and having seen Supportworks in action I …
We believed that Changepoint matched up well, had better support and provided a better pricing structure that worked better for our budget constraints over time. The team was willing to work with us on the design of the tool for our needs and it wasn't going to break the bank …
We selected Changepoint as our PPM tool over ten years ago. We made this selection based upon their 'completeness of vision' and allowing us to develop our PMO processes with a single footprint. Changepoint has been very successful with product enhancements and maintains their …
n/a to me, we used to use spread sheets and a sharepoint site to house all the project related information and documents before we went to Changepoint.
The older one was no as good as Rocketlane because the User interface and UI are most important to use any software for the end user. Because more easy to understand, and easier to adapt the software. Thanks, Rocketplane I really like rocketplane because of its features and …
Rocketlane was extremely easy to stand up and get running. Both our internal teams and customers have been fans of the process so far. We had our first projects set up, with our Salesforce sync and white-labeled branding all live within the first week.
For our specific needs, Rocketlane fits the bill perfectly. It had just the right amount of features without it being overly complicated to teach the client. The pricing also worked out well: just pay monthly licenses per user.
Rocketlane is more robust for onboarding than monday.com with better customer interface. However, Rocketlane does not have some of the advanced features of ChurnZero or GUIDEcx. However, Rocketlane's pricing is aligned well with the features they offer.
This product is useful for a team/company working with multiple customers. Employee count anywhere larger than fifty or sixty will be benefited [from] this. Considering this product is expensive(as I’ve heard) this will not serve [many] purposes to smaller companies and startups who are having a very less customer base and [fewer...] employees.
Changepoint is well-suited for consulting firms and other companies that charge clients for their time and have a need for significant project-management capabilities along with reporting and invoicing. It is not well-suited for companies that want a more basic solution to time reporting and expense reimbursement. The key questions to ask during the selection process revolve around this basic question: how are you going to use this software? Though it has a lot of functionality, the learning curve is steep and basic functionality is not as easy as one would expect.
There is project management tracking from the start till the end (onboarding till hypercare). The bifurcation of project stages and pre-built templates is good; you can assign client tasks. Less appropriate: Raising tickets for developers because there is no escalation management option. Let’s say the developer didn’t reply in 24 hours for a high-priority task; this should be automatically escalated to their senior.
Jira is a great project management tool when it comes to tracking the progress of deliverables and milestones. Each member of the team can track individual deliverables and milestones. Jira comes with filters and search functions to perform these tasks.
Jira is highly flexible when it comes to maintaining tasks and deliverable backlogs. You can plan and organize your sprints in such a way that you include your previous backlogs in them.
There are lots of reporting options. Once you figure out how to work the parameters of a report, the system is able to provide detailed and accurate compilations of data. There are also many custom reports than can be setup, as well. In my experience, we have told Changepoint PSA administrators what kind of report we were needed and they set it up for us, available in a 'custom reports' folder.
You can have several things open at once -- 'portals'. These are up at the top of the screen, much like how Google Chrome has tabs at the top. This is useful.
Status updates can be published, which can be seen by external stakeholders/clients even though they are not on Rocketlane or they have not taken Rocketlane subscriptions.
Timesheets can be easily tracked through which resource utilization can be planned.
The initial ticket creation screen lacks some important features, such as assigning "point values" (a measure of effort needed for the ticket).
The browser needs to be manually refreshed to see new tickets, which can make things confusing when several people in a meeting are simultaneously creating tickets.
The interface on some smaller portions of the software are sometimes difficult to understand.
The site could become slow with high volumes of traffic. This may have been due to the way that our infrastructure was setup.
Analytic reporting was not available in the version that we used. We created external reports to slice and dice the data and view it as the business demanded.
Sometimes the decision to renew boils down to an old adage "if it isn't broken don't fix it". Previous to moving to Changepoint, it was obvious that we needed a better project management tool. Projects we completed on time but the time zone difference between the teams and several iterations of back and forth caused a number of communication issues with projects. The difference is night and day.
As I have mentioned, some older, less tech savvy, team members have not found it as intuitive. I found it the same when I started using it although it quickly made sense. I think this is because there are lots of features we do not use so this can get in the way of what we do use
It is average. It needs to improve overall if you are paying the amount of money it costs. For now, it does the job, but with so many new features being added it would be very helpful to kick this up a notch.
Atlassian JIRA Align (formerly AgileCraft) has an excellent suite of tools that integrate well with other tools and offers full support for various agile frameworks, including SAFe. It's just a complete integrated package, whereas some other tools seem to be lacking in different areas. Several plug-ins can be integrated to help with pro serv invoicing and integration with GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence, and other tools that we use.
The system predates me as I was not working for the company when the solution was chosen - I understand this may have been an 'overpromise, underdeliver' scenario. However, we are now moving towards replacing it with Supportworks - and having seen Supportworks in action I genuinely cannot wait to switch from Changepoint and move on...
Able to forecast & plan releases well using agilecraft leading to quality on time delivery.
Distributed teams are able to collaborate well, be it be daily scrum, retrospective, estimation though this. Also team members love the gamification part & they have fun using this tool. Earlier we use to face challenges due to distributed teams but after AgileCraft, collaboration & communication was no longer a challenge & we are able to see improvement not only in team velocity, but also team satisfaction.
Simplest tool to implement safe, scaling is always a problem with most of the agile tools but agilecraft helps in smoother implementation of safe practices & principles.
Our ability to maintain a global IS Scorecard helped us to maintain a focus on completing projects on time and within budget.
Having a single instance of Changepoint with projects aligned to specific portfolios helps senior management to maintain a focus on the investment of IS resources. It is foundational to our governance processes.
As an admin and end-user, Rocketlane has saved me at least four hours of work every week. Multiply that across the entire team, and we're saving two full days of work by removing all the manual tasks.
