Klaviyo
Klaviyo is great for eCommerce sites, and ideal for Shopify. Klaviyo does integrate with other platforms - like BigCommerce. It's best utilized for businesses who already have their mission, vision, customer base, a well-designed site, are paying for traffic (via FB/Google, or some other source), and are willing to implement best practice designs to their emails and flows. For these stores, they might see 30-50% revenue increase. It's a bit expensive for beginners, but it can be used by beginners - because it's so easy to use. You'll see greater efficiency and effectiveness if you understand where email fits in your business. It's not a great CRM for other industries, like coaching. It can work - but not recommended.

Net-Results is very well-suited for small, medium and large businesses. They seem to be more advanced than what a typical enterprise level implementation would require. When selecting a marketing automation provider make it a point to find out the level of integration with Salesforce and other marketing technologies. Do they have pre-built automation modules or does it require building from the ground up? Also ask questions regarding its specific capabilities ... for example: is it a marketing automation provider? is it a CRM provider? etc

- Easy UX: The entire platform is very visual. It's easy to navigate, understand, and use. It's really well designed, and it helps business owners understand the set up / steps in the email marketing automation.
- Visual flow-building: This allows us to automate pieces of our client's business. For example, create a map of a series of emails that automatically follow-up with people who abandon carts in our client's store, indicating how many emails, when they go out, who sees them, and split test emails against one another in this format.
- Individual email building: Klaviyo makes it easy for us to design client emails with an easy builder or with HTML code. Klaviyo allows you to set up saved blocks to make your building experience more efficient as well.
- Measurement: Klaviyo makes it easy for users to see campaigns and which ones create greater click-through, open rate, conversion $ and more. You can also watch where people open the emails around the world with a map, or see which users opened particular emails.
- Individual user tracking: It's so helpful to see customer journeys throughout the entire process. You can see individual profiles and how often they visited a site, opened an email, made a purchase, how much that purchase was worth, etc.
- Integrations - pretty easy to use with multiple commerce sites, but ideal for Shopify. Easily integrates with other software.
- Automation - There are built-in templates and flows created inside of the platform. Even a novice could implement something basic and see results in their business. (better if they are customized)

- Lead scoring and alerts that go right to the lead owner.
- Weekly reports to each Sales person with their hottest lead.
- Very finely tuned segments that can be used for alerts, emails, and scheduled reports.

- This is our first holiday season using Klaviyo. It seems like their system does get overwhelmed at times with pages that don't load or even images in emails that have been sent not loading.
- Klaviyo does allow you to insert custom HTML however we have not found it useful. The code we enter in the custom HTML box sometimes doesn't render correctly in the final send.
- One HUGE thing about Klaviyo is the fact that is clips your message when viewed in gmail if it has too many links. Klaviyo adds a TON of extra tracking info to the ends of links inserted into emails so it causes the file size to go up. Once the file size limit is met, gmail starts clipping the bottom of your messages causing consumers to miss much of your message unless they click the link at the bottom of their email to view more. This is a major flaw in my opinion.

Klaviyo is simply a great solution for e-com email marketing & customer relationship management:
- User journey visibility: We can see our clients' customers on their individual user journeys (open email, site visits) to better understand and accommodate your customers.
- Flow automation: Creating automated emails that follow up with new leads, those who abandoned carts, purchased.
- Email design: So easy to use, and more friendly than some other visual builders that we've used.
- Metrics visibility: We can see our clients' metrics very easily and adjust efforts accordingly.

It's a decent platform with a user friendly interface, however it massively misses trust due to unsecured systems and support from customer service; support is a massive problem if you run a company and have a problem with the service that you can't fix. On the other side of the line, in our experience, there is no support or understanding which we haven't encountered with any other company we have done business online in the last decade.

Net Results is pretty easy to use and understand. I wouldn't say that it is the best in comparison to MailChimp's drag and drop email builder, but Net Results do so much more than MailChimp that it is hard to even compare the two. Overall Net Results has good usability

Klaviyo is the perfect mid-market option. It has more features, especially around automation than Mailchimp and AWeber (plus a Shopify and Shopify Plus integration), and holds its own upstream against larger enterprise options like Emarsys, Listrak, and others at that level. I can't think of a better option for eCommerce brands doing between $1MM-$50MM in online revenue.

We've used ClickDimensions and Marketo. We felt that ClickDimensions was more limited as far as creating effective email campaigns and not as easy to use. It also is completely native to Dynamics CRM, which can be a positive and a negative. Marketo was the previous solution we owned, we are much happier with Net-Results. It's easier to use, not as complex and there is much better communication from their support team. When looking at a new solution we also looked at Act-On and Hubspot. Act-On probably would've been our second choice, but it didn't have as modern of a feel and wasn't quite as easy to use. Hubspot didn't really fit our business. It was very focused on SEO and blog posts. It didn't have the features we needed from a marketing standpoint
