Overall Satisfaction with Klaviyo
We currently utilize Klaviyo to create, schedule, send, and manage our email/weekly newsletters and automated email flows. We send around two to three emails a week to different segments depending on if the customer is engaged, unengaged, recently purchased, etc. We also have various automated flows that are triggered and sent depending on the criteria. Klaviyo is an amazing platform that helps our organization to create email content, schedule when to send these emails, managing our analytics to see how our emails are performing, and manage our automated flows.

Cons
- At times the platform isn't as intuitive as you would like. Take the time to be onboarded and play around in the platform to get the hang of things. Utilize Klaviyo's resources and attend their live training sessions to help navigate the platform and implement best practices they recommend.
- Can be pricey depending on company and email list.
- Customization is limited at times. The brand font we utilized on all branded content wasn't available through Klaviyo. Previously we would have to go through the back end to implement our branded font, import our font, or create content on another platform to utilize our font.

For both Facebook Ads and Shopify, the process of integrating the two services was easy as Klaviyo provides a resource page on the step by step process to get the integration set up. Once set up, you are ready to start utilizing the integration right away. With Klaviyo allowing integrations, it allows businesses to optimize both platforms cohesively.
The behavioral data provided by Klaviyo allows us to understand our customers better by understanding who opens what emails, at what times are emails opened, what customers are engaged with us, what customers are unengaged with us, what customers have recently placed an order with us, what customers who have signed up for our emails but haven't converted, etc.
Klaviyo has helped with our customer journey with acquisition through our pop up on our website to capture customers emails, retention by keeping our customers engaged and loyal, and upsell by sending emails to customers who recently purchased others items they can also purchase.
The comparison of Mailchimp to Klaviyo is that Mailchimp is a very simple email platform that is good for small businesses that are just getting started, while Klaviyo is a more in-depth email marketing platform that is great for businesses looking to grow and succeed in email marketing. The Klaviyo platform is one centralized place to create customized content, automate flows, manage and utilize customer data, schedule emails, etc.
