LeadLander

LeadLander is great for sales reps who are looking for additional insights when attempting to get the right message to the right audience at the right time via the right medium. Nevertheless, the tool is basically fairly simplistic in terms of what you get. Data is delivered via email and can be tailored in terms of frequency and territory, but the overall information presented is fairly simple. The links to websites visited and accompanying information pertaining to frequency and duration are incredibly helpful. Nevertheless, if you have a lot of users visiting sites that utilize a free version of your tool, care is required to ensure that your messaging is not falling on deaf ears. Overall, the tool is very useful for accomplishing awareness of baseline insights pertaining to prospective clientele visiting your company's website in order to craft more meaningful messaging.

Zoho CRM

Well suited for basic sales and pipeline management. Not appropriate if those leads or prospects need to be transferred into other organizations or companies. Good to use on more individualized sales teams, but not particularly great when it comes to collaborations. Limited tagging and chatting options for collaborative sales.If you are planning to work a pipeline to generate sales and are not in need of a great deal of communication between employees, this will be great for you.

  • Leadlander has an excellent database of IP addresses. Often the address is registered to some unknown cable company but leadlander seems to identify them.
  • Leadlander is well designed and intuitive to use.
  • Leadlander captures page data and referral that we wouldn't otherwise have.

  • Zoho CRM has an incredible amount of features, from tagging contacts to social media integration (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc) and email capabilities.
  • Zoho CRM is very customizable. The entire look and feel of each page and account can be customized to fit your organization's needs.
  • Zoho CRM is just one of the products offered under Zoho's suite of software products. It easily integrates with other enterprise software like Zoho Project Management and Zoho email.

  • The program does run a little slow sometimes. Some days it takes longer for items to load and if you are trying to look at too long of a time frame for reports, it can take awhile too. I know this is due to all the data it accesses, but time is money. :)

  • I do wish it was a bit "smarter" that it could sense duplicate entries and simply update fields when it recognizes a dupe.
  • I wish it had an easier integration with our marketing platform, Hubspot.
  • I wish there was a way to mass update information, via spreadsheet upload, WITHOUT having the Zoho ID.

Currently, we have not went out to look for another tool because we are happy with LeadLanders' performance. If we were to be approached by any of their competitors, we would look to investigate the difference and similarities between the tools. In the past, we used a tool that provided images and steps taken to show the route a prospect takes and I found that to be very interesting.

We went through an exhaustive process doing this evaluation and in the process took the time to really understand the objectives and requirements of all groups within the organization. Now that the system is in place it needs to be used and refined over a long period to time in order to get the full value. As a result you need to consider the long-term and renewal knowing that the system will get better the more you use it.

ActOn also provides website analytics, however if we have a contact in our CRM - it will tell us each morning if that specific contact visited our website rather than just a company name. It is interesting to note that both ActOn and Leadlander often have different results and companies. I'm not sure why there is a discrepancy, however overall, both tools are fairly comparable.

Zoho CRM

I tried a lot of different software trying to find the one that gave me everything, which I found within ZOHO. It wasn't the CRM that sold me on ZOHO, it was the Subscriptions and it's integration within CRM that sold me on ZOHO. I'm glad I picked it, the CRM has been easy to adapt to and easy for the boss to get the reports out he wants.

  • Leadlander most directly relates to our sales processes. Our sales team is in Leadlander on a daily basis, as well as receiving tasks within SalesForce that identify how our current prospects and even customers are interacting with our site. It has had a positive impact on how we interract with Prospects and learn more about what they are looking for with TigerText.

  • The organization which is helping our sales team not miss a beat! We are following up without having to dig for information etc.
  • We close more sales when we have a clear activity list and can assess leads etc but using the scoring options
