LearnUpon offers a standard SaaS subscription model, consisting of several price bands. Each price band includes a set number of MAUs or ‘Monthly Active Users’. Plans vary by feature and customer support priority.
As the first step in a partnership with LearnUpon, a LearnUpon Account Executive (AE) will listen to any requirements to ensure the use case is a good fit, and recommend a LearnUpon plan to fit the specific usage, feature, and support requirements.

Chose LearnUpon
LearnUpon is much better than Mindflash, we were more limited with Mindflash and glad to be working in LearnUpon for a place to include all of our educational offerings and not just a portion of them.

I think LearnUpon is a great LMS for an organization that focuses on internal learners, aka, employees. It's very easy to create courses, enroll learners, and mark attendance. For an association such as mine, more support would be helpful for appropriately setting up the store to reflect member and non-member accounts. In addition, it's difficult to do outside-the-box functions like transfers and refunds.

Schoology does the job well enough, but there are enough areas of contention that make advanced use of the system unwieldy. District staff does not have easy reporting ability to determine adoption and use of the platform without having to export to another program for analysis. The reliability of the system is a huge pain point as we need to deliver the curriculum but cannot count on it being available when we need to use it.

We use Mindflash for a lot of our internal training needs, and it is very versatile to accomplish your needs in training employees in a variety of different areas. I've never tried to use it for external needs, but I feel like the software at the advanced level wouldn't suit that need very well at all. At the Pro level, you get a lot more flexibility, but the cost is prohibitive for the size of our company.

There are issues with users who have an account in more than one LearnUpon portal. If a user has an account in an existing LearnUpon portal, and they want to create an account in another LearnUpon portal, then they have to be invited to the new portal by an Administrator. but the user has no way of knowing that its a LearnUpon portal until they can't sign up. Its very confusing for the learner.
An email address is required in order to set up an account. We serve many providers who don't have email addresses for all of their staff, so this is a huge issue for us.

While this product constantly seeks to make improvements, certain features need tweaking. As educators enroll in various courses, these course tend to accumulate. If the educator is not an administrator of the course, it is next to impossible to get out.
Switching from one course/group to another course/group takes several steps. Not always easy to find the course/group needed.
Integration with Salesforce using professional level software. Mindflash's limited integration to only work with the higher level of Salesforce product.
More brand customization for multiple product line trainings.
Communication of trainers using Mindflash and sales team. We have multiple trainers sending invitations for training with no way for them to communicate with our sales team when a person has completed training.

While we have taken time to re-evaluate our selected 1:1 devices, Schoology's impact on student learning is unquestioned. Students are able to connect with other learners, create and share products of their learning, and develop their digital fluency through their use of Schoology.
The number of people using Mindflash is only going to rise and we need a system that remains easy to use for everyone involved. [update] This is especially vital now that we've lost head count in critical departments. Getting all of our training and Safety objectives met would be impossible without Mindflash.
It's very easy to use Schoology. As with any LMS, it helps to learn some tips and tricks prior to getting started. But, each item is clearly indicated within the platform. If I want to add materials, it is right at the top of my screen. If I want to view the calendar, it is indicated to the right of my screen. Navigating a course and the platform is quite straightforward. Additionally, the benefit of Schoology's help center and user community makes asking and answering questions quick and easy.
The interface is just so simple to understand. It's clean and efficient. We showed Mindflash off to the Safety group, who are not computer gurus and they were beyong excited to use it.
Generally good, but issue self-reporting has become a problem. When there are issues, it can be 20 minutes to an hour before it gets noted on the status page
We have county-level support and district-level support, but their HELP page offers everything that is needed to answer questions and to find "how-to" information for staff. This includes video and written directions for every available feature. Schoology has also worked with our district to improve their product.
Any problems or questions we have had with Mindflash have been handled promptly and effectively. I normally use the online chat option but have had to correspond with them through email and phone as well. We have never had an issue languish for weeks or months with Mindflash. They either fix the problem or let you know that the software isn't capable to handle the need at that point.

Sit and get with very little hands-on time. 5 minutes to try out a feature/question type, etc. is not enough time. Once your training is done, there is no option for new employees to get that training without having to rebook and pay for the training again. If you pay for basic training, that should be available to a district to use in the future.
If you're going to develop a short course to demo the product internally, don't bother avoiding your own topics. Mindflash rolls whatever content you create during the trial into your production environment when you decide to buy. The time taken to go from not having a system to being live with Mindflash is virtually instant. What you'll be wanting for is time to develop content and people to test it out.
LearnUpon's interface and immersive experience blows the competition out of the water. LearnUpon understands the "big picture" of online learning and how to provide a system that is easy and fun to use for users at any level. LearnUpon's knowledge of their own platform, and their impeccable client support is unparalleled. LearnUpon understands our business and learning needs better than any competitor. Now that I'm using a different platform at another job, I miss LearnUpon every day!

I have taught using both Edmodo and Google Classroom. While both were easier than Schoology was to get in the beginning, Schoology is infinitely more powerful than either of them was. I can do so much more, and differentiate so much easier using Schoology than I could with either of my previous LMSs.

This is an alternate software that we have looked into, right now we don't have the need for the increased flexibility that Lesson.ly provides with learning from your mobile or tablet. We haven't seen a lot of those things as particularly useful for our current training methods, but we see the quality to be similar.

We use it 5-12 so scalability is not an issue but sharing materials between departments including common assessments is difficult without paying for add-on features

Mindflash has had a positive impact on our business because it allows us to train more new users with less effort, and ensure that trainees have access to the course materials for a period of time after they have started using our software to do their daily jobs. Review of the course materials allows them to get answers to common questions without having to submit requests to our support team, thereby reducing the administrative burden on our resources.
