Arlo is only used by me and it's placed in our internet storage closet, throughout the operating room and lobby. It lets us know if any intruders after hours, and sometimes if our employees come in early. Often the IT guy will come in to check and do updates around the office such as replacing monitors or improving the workflow.

  • Sends notifications
  • App is easy to use
  • I dropped on video and it seems to have a battery shortage
  • Ability to view all videos at once using the same time frame
Its probably better suited for home-use rather than in a large office setting. Fortunately, my suite is less than 2000 sq ft so it's not much of an issue. It allows downloading and can be used amongst other managers or IT staff and the likes. I dont use any for outside.

Arlo helps us to monitor our inspection bays and provides excellent high-quality real-time surveillance as well as motion detection surveillance. It addresses the business problems of security and monitoring activities in the bays. Installation was easy and using the system is easy. It easily connects to WiFi and the system can be hardwired or wireless with rechargeable batteries.
  • The picture and video quality is excellent!
  • The customer support is excellent.
  • The product is excellent.
  • The app is easy to use.
  • The camera battery life could be improved although it is pretty good.
  • Products are expensive.
  • Excellent for home security and monitoring in areas with strong WiFi signals.
  • Excellent for mounting cameras with a lot of mounting options.
  • Wireless is good with a long battery length before charging is needed.

If there is a weak WiFi signal like at a cabin or in remote areas it is less appropriate.
I have only had to contact them one time, and they were responsive and professional. It is difficult to give a rating on this unless you actually have an issue. This is the reason for a 9 out of 10. I can not give a perfect rating if I never had an opportunity to truly experience something.
