What TrustRadius Research Says

Keap Pricing 2021

The best tool of any commercial business is marketing. Marketing is also the most time-consuming, and communication-driven process. Marketing automation software provides a way to simplify tasks and focus on quality communication. One software geared towards small businesses is Keap.

Keap is a platform that gives small businesses the chance to grow with marketing automation, email marketing, and customer relationship management.

How Keap Works

You may know Keap by their former brand name, Infusionsoft. In 2019 they rebranded to appeal more to their target market, small companies. Keap offers a number of different services that help modern enterprises grow on multiple platforms.

Keap is technically a CRM, but they don’t brand themselves as such. They consider themselves a company that “combines CRM, marketing and sales automation, and payments in one platform.” This is why they will say they offer CRM software and marketing automation. While not all CRM are marketing heavy, most CRM software already comes with marketing automation and other marketing features.

Keap can help you with marketing, sales, contact management, and customer support. For marketing, there are text and email templates, and for sales, there’s lead management and lead scoring. They also have a sales pipeline, sales funnels, quotes, and invoices for you to use. Keap can even offer a business phone line and access to their mobile app to help with both the marketing and sales processes.

Their CRM software can help any vendor connect with their customers, while you benefit from the customizable dashboard, messaging, analytics, and scheduling to keep you and your team organized. This way you can manage contacts, help customers, and stay on track with marketing.

Aside from CRM and marketing, there are additional features like integrations, training, and expert coaching. Keap integrates with a number of valuable applications like Gmail, Outlook, Zapier, and Shopify.

Keap also has an integration they offer on platforms like Zapier, called Keap Max Classic. The integration is to give email marketers access to event creation, ads, scheduling through popular services like Facebook Lead Ads, Calendly, and GoToWebinar.

For newer businesses, Keap actually offers a coaching package to help with business plan creation. On top of that, vendors will have access to free daily training webinars to provide tips for optimizing marketing and sales.

Another great benefit to mention is their services for online platforms. More than just integrating with Shopify, Keap can help you with its own landing page builder. Custom checkout pages and landing pages are just some of the valuable B2B services for online platforms.

Not every service is available for each subscription. Below we go over the keap pricing and their main features.

Keap Pricing

Keap has 3 pricing plans named Lite, Pro, and Max. The pricing is customized based on the number of contacts you need to manage and limits the number of users. Additional users past the 1 included user is $30 per person. Keap does offer a 14-day free trial for marketers that aren’t ready to commit right away. All plans accommodate 500 contacts and will cost more monthly for more contacts.

Keap’s Lite Plan - $79/Month

Keap’s Lite plan is recommended for newer enterprises and normally costs $79/mo, although sometimes they will offer a deal or discount for the first 3 months. The plan comes with their CRM software, email marketing, lead capture, and payments and invoicing. A growing business that needs to ease into marketing might appreciate this plan. Startups that haven’t quite gotten their marketing plan off the ground might like this smaller scale subscription.

Keap Pro Plan- $169/Month

The Pro plan is normally $169/mo. The plan allows for more sales and web features like landing pages, sales pipeline, and A/B testing. Keap recommends the plan for businesses that are growing and need more tools to reach more customers. Companies that need an online presence targeted towards sales may find the landing page and checkout form very useful. Companies with established brands might find their sales options easy to learn.

Keap Max Plan- $199/Month

The Max plan was engineered for more grounded businesses, and normally costs $199/mo. This plan has more selling features and access to their Max Classic integration. Selling features include sales funnels, lead scoring, and marketing performance analytics. Companies that make most of their livelihood from marketing will prefer this plan to the others offered.

One of the popular issues users have had with Keap is the cost for small businesses. Their features and products are certainly helpful, but you may want to consider other options first.

Keap Alternatives

The common competitor Keap gets compared to is SharpSpring. SharpSpring is $399/mo for their Small Business Plan. Their Enterprise and Agency plan prices are available upon request. SharpSpring is much more expensive for small companies and has fewer plan options, but they offer more in that one plan.

SharpSpring's Small Business subscription has a built-in CRM, but can be used with other CRMs as well. They provide you with marketing automation, and lead scoring just like with Keap. Unlike Keap, SharpSpring offers blogs, chatbots, unlimited users, open API, and hundreds of integrations.

SharpSpring is definitely a worthwhile competitor and a great option for small businesses that have stable roots. TrustRadius can provide a comparison between the software so you can compare reviews.

If you want a cheaper option, HubSpot CRM is universal for businesses of all sizes. The best part is they have a free version. HubSpot offers email marketing, contract management, and much more.
