My Favorite Video Editing App/Software

Pros

  • Ease of use.
  • Unique compared to other options in the field.
  • Good variety of editing options.

Cons

  • It would be great if Magisto would allow significantly longer videos—20 to 30 minutes. I've often wondered why Magisto focuses on shorter videos and only recently began allowing videos that are 10 minutes maximum.
  • I would love for Magisto to offer an affiliate program. I publish a lot of videos that I create in Magisto and refer it to many people in the education and dance industries. I would love to be able to do that as a paid affiliate and I'm sure others would as well.

  • A good conversation piece.
  • I'm not sure if I have had any direct conversions after someone has seen a video I've created in Magisto.

Pros

  • The ease to upload, sort and edit videos.
  • The many options to add themes, music, and styles.
  • The ability to host, download and share all from within the same platform.

Cons

  • The themes can be improved upon. Most are too busy and take away from the video.
  • A longer video than 5 minutes would be a bonus on the professional plan.
  • Access to 1080p downloads at the professional plan level.

  • Our clients have reported an increase in their fundraising from using videos created in Magisto.
  • We have gained clients due to our customers sharing the videos made by us on their platforms.
