Paradox offers conversational recruiting software used to drive automation with a human touch. Serving global clients with hiring needs across high-volume hourly and high-skilled professional roles, Paradox's conversational assistant Olivia streamlines tasks like screening, and interview scheduling, through mobile-first interactions. Olivia uses natural language processing (NLP) in her conversations which simply means she speaks like a human. So much so that Paradox states that 75% of candidates say “thank you” to her.

Beyond speaking candidates' and recruiters’ language, Olivia is enterprise-ready — backed by security measures that include Soc 2 Type 2 Compliance, ISO 27001 compliance, Privacy Shield Certified, and has built-in compliance for GDPR.

Paradox further states they will tailor custom solutions to meet the needs of each organization. And that they support some of the world's largest employers — including Unilever, McDonald's, CVS Health, Lowe's, and General Motors.

We use Paradox to streamline our candidate screening process for all stakeholders - candidates, recruiters, and interviewers. Our process previously was manual heavy with some redundancy, slowing down our time to interview. Further, the complexity around certain interview types and cases increased the pain points felt by our recruiters. This was the main problem we were looking to solve when considering Paradox, along with their other products that supported and enhanced the candidate experience.
  • Client Support - Having access to available and helpful client support, co-facilitating meetings for Paradox UAT and training, to quickly resolving issues when they arise
  • Agile and Fast product development - Their roadmap for products have moved quickly, allowing us to incorporate new features and functions into our current process
  • UI - Their UI is very mobile-focused; we are not a mobile-first company when it comes to our candidate's experience. It would be great if the experience was just as seamless and welcoming for the desktop as it was for mobile.
  • Adding interviewers is not intuitive; it usually is a pain point for new users.
While my company is not in the high volume hiring space, it appears to be built very effectively to support high volume hiring positions and companies, reducing recruiting efforts around the initial stages of the screening process. The paradox is good at quickly integrating into your Mail Server System (like Outlook) to get their scheduling product up quickly as a baseline.

  • Significant positive ROI - Analyzing the time spent on Scheduling for our recruiting team we found roughly 5% of their time was scheduling. For 20 recruiters, that's the equivalent of 1 FTE just scheduling for the month. Paradox costs much less than 1 FT Recruiter.
