Overall Satisfaction with 6sense

6sense is being used to provide ad coverage for marketing campaigns, engage new accounts, and prioritize accounts lists for our sales teams using intent data. The insights 6sense gives allow us to target the right accounts at the right time from both a sales and marketing perspective.
  • Provide Intent Data.
  • Ad Campaign Alerts.
  • Automatic budget optimization.
  • Outside of US reach.
  • Speed.
  • Integration with marketing automation platforms and more CRMs (not just Salesforce).
  • Hard to report on this without a full attribution reporting model, so we haven't been able to see a strong ROI.
We have definitely seen a handful of text book situations coming from uncovering intent signals in the dark funnel. However, the process from getting an intent signal to talking to the right person at the company can be a grind.
The 6sense team was much more responsive during our evaluation period and provided much more support. The 6sense team also promised us a Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration shortly after we purchased (which was a huge selling point), but we have yet to see much movement here a year later. This has been disappointing.
The Customer Success Managers are often just a liaison between you and the support team and aren't able to offer up campaign optimizations or improvements.
The interface is super intuitive, but speed seems to be an ongoing issue for us.

Do you think 6sense delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with 6sense's feature set?

Yes

Did 6sense live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of 6sense go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy 6sense again?

Yes

6sense is great to provide prioritization of target accounts and gain insights to audiences. Because 6sense only provides account data, there can be a lot of manual work or additional costs to ensure that you can also gain access to contact information. If you're only going after enterprise accounts, 6sense may not be the best option - for example, if two people are on your website from a 20,000 person company, you'll find yourself in a "needle in a haystack" situation when trying to find the correct people to talk to. I would not recommend this product if you aren't running Salesforce.
