Great Call Quality and User-Friendly
Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work
We use 8x8 for our main communication platform for both internal and external calls & messages. It allows us to stay connected whether we're in the office, working remotely, or out in the field. Before using 8x8, we struggled with missed calls and inconsistent phone quality. 8x8 Work, we now have reliable call routing, voicemail and easy to use mobile app that keeps everyone reachable. Our use case mainly covers phone communication and messaging for our entire staff, including sales, support, and administration.
Pros
- The call quality is very good, even when team members are working remotely. It's reliable and doesn’t drop calls like other systems we’ve used before.
- The desktop and mobile app are easy to use and switching the call from desktop to phone is very easy and it helps a lot.
- The system makes it easy to transfer calls between departments without dropping a line. Doing a conference call becomes very easy now.
Cons
- The one thing sometime my mobile app can lag or sign out unexpectedly, which interrupts calls.
- Sometime call transfers occasionally take a few extra seconds to connect.
- It would be nice if there were a built-in feature for internal chat group instead of group messages.
- 8x8 Work has significantly reduced the time spent on phone and video calls by streamlining communications.
- By using one 8x8 platform we have lowered our operational costs related to phone systems, conferencing software, and IT support.
- The seamless integration of messaging, voice, and video in 8x8 Work has helped increase employee productivity.
Before using 8x8 Work we evaluated other communication such as zoom and Microsoft Teams, and Rin central. While all of these tools offer video and messaging features, we found 8x8 Work to be more reliable for voice calls and easier for our team to manage. The interface is simple, setup is straightforward and call quality is very good.
