Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We are a Canadian midsize business organization which implemented ADP Workforce Now this year, in March. We use the program in the Payroll & HR Department primarily to generate the payroll. But we use the program for benefits, human resources and labor distribution reporting as well. Our company hires plumbing apprentices who are sent to training programs and we need to report on a periodic basis their worked hours. The program provides an easy way to do it and it provides the possibility to directly file their ROE with the government.
- Some reports are generated in real time and you can verify your payroll input before sending the payroll.
- It has a direct filling system with the government which is very helpful especially for companies like ours who terminate lots of employees for apprentice training purposes.
- It is helpful to have the benefits and payroll deductions within one module.
- The payroll implementation for multiple jobs worked by the same employee is too time consuming.
- For payroll implementation and some reports it would be helpful to have the possibility to sort the employees by pay departments.
- The HR and Payroll information are not properly integrated and you need multiple steps to accomplish one change.
- We can provide manual cheques and ROE information in real time for our employees who are leaving for apprenticeship training.
- We get real time direct filling
- The self service feature saves us and the employees time when inquiring about their payroll history.
- The payroll input takes more time than when done with other programs
- ADP PC and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
Our company used ADP PC for Windows before and we were transferred to ADP Workforce Now by the payroll company; we didn't choose it. In some aspects we liked more the ADP PC program, it was easier to implement changes and introduce payroll data. But we like the real time reporting and the online capabilities of the ADP Workforce Now.
