Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Currently we're using ADP WorkForce Now as our HRIS system, so we use it for benefits enrollment/billing, performance management, recruitment, employee document storage, and for payroll. It's utilized across the whole organization as each team using the goal setting feature and each employee uses it to take time off and enroll in benefits. It helps us stay organized and allows the employees to have full access to everything they need.

Pros

  • Goal setting. This is a very easy-to-use feature that's straightforward and keeps our employees on track.
  • Time off requests. Also very straightforward and being able to have it on the homepage for each employee means they stay on top of their requests.

Cons

  • The ATS portion is not as user friendly as it should be, it's difficult to sort through candidates effectively.
  • Customer service line can be confusing, you're never really sure if you're calling into the right department.
  • We've definitely seen ROI since using the ATS. We're less reliant on outside recruiters and we've seen an influx of referrals.
  • It's saving our HR team hours by easily making benefit selections for our employees.
I think ADP works well if you're scaling from 50-300 people, but past the 400 mark I do not believe it could support all of the company's needs.
  • Slack
We're currently looking into integrating ADP into Slack for easier access for employees.
ADP is a better plug and play product than Ceridian, however Ceridian was able to be customized which is more helpful for larger companies.
ADP Workforce Now is great for a startup like us who needed to scale up quickly. I do not believe it would work for an organization that's over 400 people, but for us (at 200 people) it's perfect.
