Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Our organization uses ADP Workforce Now for HCM, WFM, and to process weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt US employees. We also process weekly payroll for a small population of expatriates in Saudi Arabia.

  • Reviewing payroll history for employees could be smoother - kind of "clunky" to get the information quickly.
  • Integration with other non-ADP products isn't always clean/smooth.

ADP Workforce Now has been able to grow with us as our population has grown from 1K - 5K, but with an upcoming merger we've been told that they will no longer be able to support our population (10K+) and have been advised to move to a different ADP product.

Integration was not the smoothest with non-ADP products. We had to create a project request with ADP and they would work with our internal teams on the integration, but the timelines seemed to be quite long (2-3x longer than expected) and there is a cost associated.
Although I didn't select ADP Workforce Now for our company, I can say that it stacks up a lot better than other systems I've used or evaluated in the past. The payroll module is user-friendly and very intuitive. It didn't take my team very long at all to get the process down without issue. Payroll processing is quick, the "canned" preview reports that return after each preview are more than adequate for a comprehensive review. Our employees find it easy to manage their information, review their pay statements, and find the information they are looking for as well.

Our client success representative is amazing and always very responsive to e-mails, phone calls, etc. When they are not available, however, support can be difficult. When we call in and get someone other than our rep, it always feels like they don't have an understanding of how their own systems work and can be frustrating, especially when needing assistance with a time sensitive issue.
ADP Workforce Now is a great solution for payroll as the payroll module is very intuitive and doesn't take hours upon hours of training to learn. Payroll can be calculated and reviewed quickly, which is a nice change of pace compared to other ADP products that take half an hour to return a preview. The payroll preview summary screen gives you a comprehensive snapshot of your payroll totals (taxes, earnings, etc.) and you can compare to the previous payroll to flag any large variances. The only complaint I have is that you cannot download these comparisons in report form - which my audit team would LOVE.
