Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

It is used in all our Canadian offices and the American offices, so there are a lot of users. We use it for vacation and sick days, payroll stubs, and income tax. It is pretty simple and the process is great. You put in for a day off, it is approved by mgmt and records all the balances used and pending.
  • I like that the days off are in categories: taken, pending and earned.
  • Pay stubs are all nicely in boxes and easily printed from the program.
  • When you book off, you can write a note: such as; "manager approved."
  • I see some strange things in there regarding holiday times. It will have + 8hrs, -8 hrs. It is confusing. I didn't take that day off and realized it was a holiday.
  • At one point there was a plus 8, minus 8, and another plus 8. I have no clue what that means. Not sure if I took that day and will have to ask my manager.
  • I think the request list could be easier if it was by date to be taken versus date of booking.
  • I'm not sure, I am just an end user.
  • I see that there is a lot of HR that head office must use, but we don't as off site users.
  • I like it, because everything is in ADP, versus using different software all over the place!
It is a great product as far as I can see. We have many other programs that are used by our American partner head office and they are difficult and you have to go in and out of the program to complete one task. This one is across the board and easy for all of us.

I love Yardi too. Easy if you know what you are doing. But ADP is more user-friendly. ADP, you can actually cancel a request and there is no hassle. One day I put in for the day off and realized I had to go into the office. I canceled it immediately no hassle. Usually, you would have to wait and get approval from a manager to prove you didn't take the day off, or send something to HR.

There have been no major issues, but there is a support button if you need it. I like the calendar so you can see the days requested and what they are: vacation, balances, etc. Also, along with the pay stubs, there is a spot that shows the taxes you pay. If you click on your salary there is a short view or you can double click and the whole deductions come up if you wanted the breakdown. Is so easy to use.
I do like it. It was a learning curve and had to ask my regional a few times to find things. Maybe there should be a training cheat sheet for new users. Maybe there is now, I haven't looked. But I do appreciate being able to book off on the same day or a day, versus when we had it on paper and had to wait for a manager to sign! Everyone is on email and phones now so it's instant.
