Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Employee records, payroll, recruitment, onobarding, performance, time management.
We are able to organize our company information digitally to collaborate across two states and 8 locations while easily managing over 800 employees.

Pros

  • Support - the Bridge and chat feature make solving unique problems easy and most importantly, efficient
  • Data Organization - it's easy to find details and information on each employee
  • User Interface - employees can navigate the app with ease while practitioners can use the website to access everything we need

Cons

  • Multitasking - it is difficult to access or work on multiple things at once since only one page or window can be open
  • Employee to Practitioner/Manager troubleshooting - practitioners or managers need a better way to view the employee's side so we can help resolve employee issues
  • Faster hiring and onboarding process for candidates
  • Ability for manager collaboration with recruitment and employee management
ADP seems to provide the ability for me to customize based on my company's needs. The structure is the same across companies but we are able to have what we want while avoiding irrelevant tools.
  • Pingboard
  • Absorb
  • Encompass
The attempted integration with Pingboard and Encompass were not successful due to the lack of customization options available.

The integration with Absorb was difficult to set up but has run successfully for over a year.
  • Humanity
I used Humanity for scheduling and organization communication. I found it to be a better system for those needs than similar uses in ADP.

Most of the time support staff via the chat feature are able to resolve my problem. They are often friendly and knowledgeable. I have had a few occurrences when it took a very long time to get to an answer or solution or the ADP representative was not knowledgeable to help.
The Bridge is a great resource that many systems seem to not offer. It is nice to be able to review forums were users like me have had the same problem and found a solution. My account representative tends to be the least helpful of the support options. I feel like she often does not understand my problem or I end up teaching her something new and still have an issue. Responses tend to be slow dragging out requests by weeks.
At my current company, we have been able to use many functions of ADP to fit our business. The first couple to come to mind include recruitment/talent and the performance dashboard for completing annual reviews of employees.

At a previous company, we had multiple departments that each had complex duties within each position. We found the scheduling tool in ADP to not work for our needs.
