Overall Satisfaction with Airtable

I have used Airtable at our company as this is the preferred choice for one of our vendors. We use it in conjunction with them and we work on tracking some outstanding issues there. So we use it across 2 companies and within our organization as a result. It has been an interesting but challenging experience.

  • Good customer support
  • Responsive design
  • Very complex and cumbersome to use.
  • Confusing amount of filters and almost too much stuff in there.
  • Long onboarding.
  • Taken too much time to figure out and do every day.
  • Let us work with a client we really wanted to have a partnership with.
  • Hasn't been intuitive UI or use.
Airtable was the preference of choice of the client we were working with so there wasn't much we could. However, internally we still utilized other options as Airtable was very cumbersome to use and took a while to find what you were looking for. The interface wasn't very easy to navigate or clean.
I only dealt with support one time and I thought it was fine. We needed help setting up other people with correct access and the support team was responsive and easy to work with so we had no issues there.

I think Airtable would be fine to use within an organization that is relatively small and is using Airtable for project tracking within a department or two. I don't think it is a good product to use across multiple companies or with complex issues at hand. We have had a challenging time using it daily and it hasn't been intuitive.
