Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence

Atlassian Confluence is used within the organisation to store all sorts of documentation - requirements, process documentation, team charts, timelines, different spaces. It is a very versatile tool and can be used by multiple users (internally and client side). Its also an easy tool to grasp and so very user friendly in that sense.

Pros

  • Being a one stop shop for documentation

Cons

  • I think adding comments can be a pain in Atlassian Confluence because they're hidden
  • Sometimes organising where pages fit in within Atlassian Confluence
  • Adding images and files or creating tables within Atlassian Confluence can be a bit of a pain
  • Its been a good tool for both interally and with the client
  • Its helped oranise information in a way that it improves working with the client
  • Different security features help in hiding/displaying information
Atlassian Confluence is a pretty easy software to grasp i would say. For the basics you can start off with adding a lot to the page. There's also more advanced features that can be learned over time and are definitely very easy to incorporate. I enjoy using it for project work and collaboration

Atlassian Confluence is defnitely suited for the use of a collaboration tool between the client and interally. There's a variety of documentation that can be added to Atlassian Confluence and it's also quite easy to organise it in a way that works for all. We've used it to store design documentation, requirements documentation or general documentation also.
