Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence

We use Atlassian Confluence as our central hub for all kinds of documentation. All types of process agreements, system diagrams, even user information. We've agreed to store everything there. It helps us keep everything organized and accessible, which solves the problem of scattered information. Basically, it's our central system for internal knowledge.

Pros

  • Sharing what you know with your team.
  • Make some spaces public and keep others totally private.
  • Keeping things organized and secure.

Cons

  • Search could be more intuitive and provide different filters.
  • Improve pages tables and formatting.
  • User management and permissions.
  • Atlassian Confluence has boosted our team's productivity.
  • Less time wasted searching for docs.
  • Helped us improve onboarding for new hires.
It's very intuitive for most things, making it easy to jump in and start creating pages and collaborating. This makes it ideal for onboarding new members to the team. There are a few areas that could be a little smoother, but overall it's a great experience.
We chose Atlassian Confluence over SharePoint because it's much more user-friendly and intuitive. Atlassian Confluence makes collaboration and knowledge sharing easier with its simpler interface and better search. While SharePoint can be powerful, it often feels clunky and complex, making it harder for our team to actually use it.

Do you think Atlassian Confluence delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Atlassian Confluence's feature set?

Yes

Did Atlassian Confluence live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Atlassian Confluence go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Atlassian Confluence again?

Yes

In my opinion, Atlassian Confluence is very good for handling collaborative documentation like project specifications, meeting notes and knowledge bases. We mostly use it where version control and multiple authors are necessary. It's less suitable for quick chats, highly structured data, or very small teams with basic documentation needs.
