Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
As an online retailer our entire business revolves around our website run by BigCommerce. We are a small business, so everyone has a hand in its operation and they have access to the website management. BigCommerce gives us access to many apps that help run our business more efficiently.
- Selection of business related apps that integrate easily
- Easy updating of website themes
- Easy to understand dashboard
- Need more expansive and easier to use bulk edit. Currently the bulk edit does not include all fields necessary.
- Newsletters on how to run online retailing business. Shopfiy does an excellent job of communicating the latest and most current trends.
- E-commerce website is necessity for us. Hard to determine positive or negative impacts as it is extremely difficult for us to compare to other platforms.
- Have considered Shopfiy because they seem to really want to help their customers succeed through regular correspondence, hints, best practices, etc.

Bigcommerce does allow us to easily utilize API with new apps offered in their platform. We currently use about 6 of them and they have all easily integrated into the platform
Started our business as a Drupal site because of the flexibility, but required too much programming and cost to maintain. Tried Volusion, but dashboard too complicated. Shopify was best alternative but too time consuming for us to migrate. Bigcommerce is something we know and continue to hope that they provide more insights into online business.
