Overall Satisfaction with Braze

Braze allows us to easily setup, measure and optimize multi channel journeys and campaigns throughout different customer lifecycles.
  • Journey orchestration
  • Campaign content builder
  • Experimentation
  • Analytics - Not all events are passed via API
  • Campaign builder - Difficult to collaborate on the same campaign as it may create conflicting versions
  • Dashboarding - There's no way to build dashboards within Braze
  • With journeys built along and outside of the funnel, and by passing the conversion events back to Braze, we're able to track key performance indicators along the funnel and optimize them either through content optimization or flow optimization.
  • With the channel fallback option built into our journeys, Braze has allowed us to reach customers across various channels and this has expanded our reach
Campaign builder is easy to use and can be immediately, without further training, be used by anyone moving from another platform.

Journey builder is slightly more complex and may require some training or time to get used to, but it is still easy considering the wide range of functionalities it offers.
While data integration and reporting features could use some work, beyond that, from the point of view of orchestrating multi-channel journeys and campaigns, Braze has proven to be an indispensable part of our marketing tech stack.
Braze and SFMC are pretty close, but Braze hits the sweet spot with the amount of features it offers and price. Salesforce can be more advanced in terms of features, but is also more complex, and it is pricier.

Easy to use canvas journey builder, yet packed with various features which give the user setting up the journey both: (1) control over the audiences and journey flow and (2) ability to concurrently run experiments.
