Overall Satisfaction with Broadvoice

Broadvoice is being used across our whole organization. The auto-attendant is an excellent way to alleviate our overworked receptionist. Now our customer can contact our staff directly. It helped when COVID hit us, and we had to have staff work remotely since they can take their phones anywhere with an internet connection.

Pros

  • Customer service.
  • Call logs.
  • Up to date on current issues and when they will be resolved.
  • Quickly handing any issue we have.

Cons

  • Make B-Hive easer to navigate.
  • Faxing features could use more work.
  • Improve network through the phone. Have issues when the phone has problems; the computer can't connect to the network when it's going through it.
  • Auto-attendant.

  • Lowered our over all cost.
  • Easier to get ahold of our staff.
  • Dual calling to desk and to cell phone.
Mitel phones did not have as many features as the Polycom phones that Broadvoice uses. Also, we had issues with Mitel not being able to figure out a problem with the cordless telephone not working. We sat six months without it. When our contract was up, we moved. It was a great move to Broadvoice.

They work well for small businesses with limited IT staff. Not sure how it would work for a larger company since it was tedious to change names on the phones. Sometimes I have to contact support to help with it when the name changes to take effect on the phone from the portal.
