Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

We use CaptivateIQ for our monthly and quarterly commission payouts. The reps love the look & feel of CaptivateIQ as much as I do, so they are finding it much easier to understand and track their commissions. This means less time for me walking them through their monthly statements, answering questions. Also, the ability to publish statements as I review them, and quickly fix and re-process only those that require edits saves me hours. I save about 3 hours on normal monthly commissions and close to 8 hours on quarterly commissions! What also saves me a ton of time each commission cycle is the process of reviewing each payout and clicking Publish on a payout-by-payout basis. It's incredibly quick and easy if something needs to be adjusted to make the adjustment, re-process, review, and publish without having to touch everyone else who you've already approved! I love the notification emails that go out upon clicking Publish, too.

Pros

  • Processing and Publishing of commissions.
  • Customer Service.
  • Ability to make adjustments and re-process.

Cons

  • The means of creating reports is very complicated.
  • When you build a new report, you have to re-process all commissions in order for the report to show anything.
  • The spreadsheet format.
  • Ease of adjustments and processing.
  • Notifications that get sent upon publishing.
  • Saved hours on commissions processing.
  • Reps find it easy to read, so less questions on their statements.
The UI of Xactly is very confusing and has too many clicks. Spiff has a nice UI, but making agile adjustments is cumbersome, as well as the reporting was very basic.
