Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

We use CaptivateIQ to calculate commissions for several different plans across several different roles in order to save astronomical amounts of time for our commission admins.
  • Managing commission plans and overrides en masse
  • Flexibility on how commission statements can appear to the end user
  • You can learn the system with less time investment than other platforms because it uses a language that is familiar to most of the addressable market
  • Handling one-off adjustments can be time-consuming because of the way the data flows from workbooks, to calc workbooks, to statements
  • Overrides are optimized for mass management; I would love the ability to address one-offs more quickly than loading overrides to data workbooks
  • I wish reprocessing of statements already published was a less cumbersome process
  • I want reps to have a more intuitive path to previewing their unpublished statements with fewer clicks required

We selected CaptivateIQ because we were in a time-sensitive situation of needing to transition commission plan management quickly, and we needed a system that used a language we were already familiar with.

CaptivateIQ works best when you have A LOT to do and not a lot of time to do it. Handling tons of adjustments, loading clawback records, etc., is a breeze. Digging into an inquiry for one single person's commission statement is more cumbersome than I would hope. Load times, backtracking through the data to the source, etc.
