Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

Webex Teams is being used across our organization. However, as a recently merged company that uses this product, I cannot say that it does anything unique than MS Teams. Collaboration is the business problem that it addresses. The nicest feature that I found that stood out is the fact that it will show the entire chat history from a team to any new members joining it.
  • Team chat history is shared with new members
  • Allows joining of external meetings
  • Webex Teams needs to make it's mark. It looks and feels like MS teams.
  • Needs to be able to integrate into tools (even MS tools like Flow, Powerapps)
  • Allows collaboration with colleagues - this is needed in any organization.
  • Allows meetings directly from the app - this allows to have 1 tool and have external guests join.
I have not had to work with Webex Teams support at all so I cannot comment on how their support is.
It's company wide.
  • None
None. This is a fairly new product to me
I currently use both MS Teams and Cisco Webex Teams as our company has recently merged. I can say that overall, I love MS Teams way more than Webex teams. The interface feels smoother, the integration with other apps is better (SharePoint, flow, Powerapps, OneNote, etc). and really allows for innovative thinking with the ability to add in O365 web apps.

Do you think Webex App delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webex App's feature set?

No

Did Webex App live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex App go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex App again?

Yes

I honestly would not recommend Webex Teams over Microsoft Teams. While it does do a few things better than, overall as a whole with integration, it feels a bit lacking. It seems the 2 platforms mimic each other in ways. My goal would overall be to drop Webex teams in favor of MS teams.

Cisco Webex Experience

We have not used other products with Webex teams.
One of the most important things in my role is having partner meetings. Whether this is with or without webcam, it's important to have recurring meetings. I find that Webex teams unfortunately does not scale well with larger meetings and there's always that 'embarrassment' when the product doesn't work well. I've moved all of my meetings to either MS teams or Zoom.
I personally find Webex teams to be less appealing than other solutions. I really found nothing beneficial in sticking with Webex teams when other solutions out there do either the same, or better. However, based on this question, I have not use the AI enabled innovations mentioned.
