Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

ClickUp is the central communication and project management hub for our organization. We use it for support tickets, project timelines, checklists, internal coordination, time tracking, and client database management. Each of our active clients has a folder assigned in ClickUp, and each project has a list. We also use the documents area for training and information sharing.
  • Third party integrations.
  • Ticket details, discussion, attachments (I like the video tool especially).
  • Embedding files, documents, cross referencing with other tickets, etc.
  • Multiple ticket selection and updating.
  • Replies are hard to see in task comments. I have to click to find them and miss them sometimes.
  • There is no video feature in the desktop app.
  • I'd like to create tickets from Spark but don't have a good way.
  • Replaced client management application.
  • Greatly improved our project management processes over Asana.
  • Video recording for quick feedback has saved many hours.
The tack management has been much better than it was with the ability to customize fields, views, dashboards, etc. The flexibility makes ClickUp stand apart from the competition (Asana, Monday, etc.) and allows our team to work more effectively to provide better service to clients.
We have used it to replace the client database for billing tracking, use it for time tracking, task management, and document management. While we still use some of the third party tools, we continue to move things into ClickUp for out processes and plan to continue migrating our core processes to ClickUp going forward.
Per my earlier comments, the ability to customize ClickUp makes it really stand apart. We can tailor things to our processes and business rather than trying to adapt our business to work with the tools. Also there are so many more features that allow us to use it for much more than task management.

I think it works really well for any project or company that needs a ticketing system, project management, etc. Generally it has been intuitive for our clients when we invite them into a folder. The customization options make ClickUp work for many situations that you wouldn't expect. For example, we use it for our Client Management. We had a Google Sheet before, but needed something more robust. We figured out a way to use ClickUp sheet view with custom fields rather than write an application.
