Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

ClickUp has completely changed how projects are managed within our company. Instead of a slew of emails, a project's lifespan is accessible to the whole team in an organized thread. As a designer, I primarily use the Task Function where tasks from other team members are assigned to me. It provides a better checklist and makes communication easier on the go. You can respond with a simple thumbs up to acknowledge as well as @ people to chime in when needed! I love being able to have specific members assigned to jobs and not having to individually @ every member. Whoever you have assigned to a job can be notified with a simple @watchers. Its mobile features are as packed as the desktop app.

  • Showcasing tasks in a popup window creates some issues if you're prone to accidentally closing windows. An alternate way to display these would be ideal.
  • Spaces show the status of every job. As a team, you are locked to only one view of an entire Space across the entire company. Meaning if someone changes the layout for themselves into a more manageable view it changes it for the whole company. This causes a lot of grief quickly.
  • Collaboration and productivity has increased significantly. Instead of a slew of emails, a project's lifespan is accessible to the whole team in an organized thread.

ClickUp has simplified our workflow by being able integrate several of our already used apps into one interface. Outlook, cloud drives such as Dropbox and One Drive as well as Google Drive are fully capable of being embedded into tasks and project threads. No longer do we have to juggle between apps and more importantly all the features on the desktop app are accessible on the mobile app as well.
I think the overall flow and user friendliness of ClickUp is far better. Very easy to use and setup and they have documentation and video guides that helps you find the best way to use it for your business type. Where Procore is strictly cloud based ClickUp allows you to have dedicated programs that don't rely on the 'uptime' of the cloud/service provider. ClickUp is a better savings and investment of money than Procore without the constant upsells and sales pitches.
